All blue, of course, voted in person at the courthouse here in deep red central Nevada, deep Trump country. First day of early voting here. Touch screen with generated paper receipt, which is then scanned by the machine after you verify it's correct. Neat system with paper trail. Courthouse is just 4 blocks away. I feel confident that my vote is counted. Went with my hubby.

Anyone else think it's stupid that the third party candidates get to be on official ballots with so little national support? It just encourages wasted votes.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 18, 2020 12:11 AM |
All blue. And I’ve never done that in my life. But the message needs to be sent regardless of the quality of the other candidates that this shit storm we’ve been living for is not acceptable. I just worry that on the next election cycle will be doing this again changing candidates because they’re stupid dumbasses.

R72 care to tell us which state...?
I voted in Georgia...All Bue. Joe/Kamala and Ossoff and Warnock for Senate. Also voted for Dems in the state legislative races.
Florida voter? you say you're waiting for election day. I know Florida to be a true shithole place to vote. But. If you were to get an absentee ballot, and then hand carry it to the election commission offices wouldn't that insure it is accurately counted? I just want as many of us to vote as possible before Nov. 3rd. I'm worried about the bad people being violent.

by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 18, 2020 3:27 PM |
I don't think I'm going to vote. Yeah, Biden is better, but he's still a piece of shit. I voted for Hillary in 2016 because she was the lesser of two evils and obviously that was a wasted vote.

[quote]I can't wait for the data mining troll to die a fiery greasy death. You have no idea how data mining or anonymous message boards work!
I wish you'd stop saying that data can't be mined on an anonymous board. There are a lot of people here who aren't tech savvy in the least and they might believe you, not realizing you're just cunting the place up because that's what you do here.
OP isn't data mining; he's a Trump troll, anyone who has him on ignore can see for themselves. But that doesn't mean there aren't bad actors on Datalounge posting questions like this for sketchy reasons. Nothing is truly anonymous on the internet. Please stop telling people otherwise.

Biden and pretty much Democrats for state and local offices. I'll drop off my ballot today or tomorrow at a drop box.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | October 18, 2020 7:23 PM |
WARNING
Some Trumptard dropped a burning newspaper into an official ballot box in Los Angeles. It destroyed several ballots. If you are voting by mail in CA consider walking it into a post office.

I'm Chinese so voted Biden. Trump has been holding China in check. Taiwan is ours.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | October 19, 2020 4:00 PM |
I think the Chinese leadership has been very pragmatic and patient with Trump . They know he’s using China as a scapegoat for everything, even before COVID erupted. I sense the Chinese are just telling themselves that they need to ignore the provocations and wait it out for the four years until Trump is replaced by a rational leader. Also, I assume that they trust that Trump ‘s worst impulses will be kept in check by other powers within the government,
Besides, the US withdrawal from the TPP meant that the US would no longer shape the trade deal to favor US interests, allowing the Chinese to increase its influence over Pacific trade policy. So, Trump has helped Chinese interests.

Voted Biden Harris by mail and got confirmation here in Virginia. I didn’t vote for Don Beyer because he’s an asshole.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | October 19, 2020 6:18 PM |
I voted by mail in a Massachusetts. The state has a website where I verified that the ballot has been received and “accepted”, which I guess means that it wasn’t rejected due to some technicality.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | October 19, 2020 6:28 PM |
Big Blue all the way. Deep in the heart of Texas. Voted in person. I do not trust trump’s post office. Also, why would anyone waste their time writing in a candidate? Just stay home/save your stamp.

by Anonymous | reply 93 | October 19, 2020 7:33 PM |
All Democratic top to bottom, voted out any judge appointed by a Republican, looked up the contribution history for the non-partisan offices and voted only Democratic, and no on any constitutional amendment proposed by a Republican. A pure, pristine, Republicans-can-die-in-a-grease-fire ticket.
