Rene Auberjonois Straight?
I know he was most famous as Odo on Deep Six 9, but to me he'll always be Clayton from "Benson." Anyway, he died last year and I discovered he'd been married to a woman since 1963 and had two kids. So I guess he was STRAIGHT? He seemed flaming. Gayer than a treeful of parrots.
I guess he could've been bearding, but doing so for nearly sixty years seems a bit excessive.
Oh, I also found out his great-great-great grandmother was Napoleon's sister, which is sort of cool.

You could be onto something, OP. I always thought that he and Quark had a thing going on. I mean the actor who played Quark.

I never watched any of those Star Trek shows, so like you -being an 80s kid- he was the guy from Benson.
I knew he had an aristocratic background. by I had no idea it was being related to Napoleon. That really is cool.

IMO he and Jeffrey Combs likely had a thing going on when they both worked on DS9. If you watch interviews with the both of them, they seem unusually close. Bi vibes from both, mostly from Rene. Just my take on it.
That being said I loved Rene, so sad heās gone now.

I remember being a young gayling and seeing Eyes of Laura Mars. I wasn't sure which way I was headed (Still thought girls) but I remember thinking, well I'll never be that! (Rene's fem character in the movie). What a nasty little piece of work I was.
