R11, it wasn’t professional but I can understand it happening. I’m pretty sure they’re a morning show which is much looser and more relaxed than a regular news show. And those shows go on for several hours and the hosts can kind of lose it after awhile from boredom and exhaustion. (I’ve worked the local versions and it’s painfully repetitious after a couple hours.) I’ve seen hosts get the giggles over various things and sometimes they can recover or stifle it and sometimes they can’t. In this case the male host was egging on Ryan’s stupidity which might not be nice but it’s not the host’s job to make Lochte look competent.
