Back before “woke” PC culture, racial sensitivity, and Social Justice Warriors, there was the hilarious White Chicks movie, released in 2004.
Oh, honey, no.

It wasn't even vaguely funny. Badly written and directed, it was a bomb.
Only good thing about it was the cute guy. John Reardon. Another former Canadian high school football player turned actor. Seems to be many of them around.

It was funny - stupid, but funny
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 16, 2020 7:45 PM |
Trans women of color.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 16, 2020 7:51 PM |
It was a dumb movie. It only made 70 mil at the box office cause people weren't impressed.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 16, 2020 7:54 PM |
I never understood if with all the access they have to Hollywood makeup why they didn’t make them look more passing. Was that to be a plot point that you knew they weren’t really white girls or not?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 16, 2020 7:57 PM |
You can’t make two strapping dudes look feminine. The premise was absurd—of course they didn’t look like women, but there was no plot if the others actors thought they looked identical to the real girls they were impersonating

Well, duh. A big part of the comedy was supposed to come from the premise that the other characters were fooled by these bad disguises. Otherwise, the movie could've replaced the black actors with real white actresses (but that would be less funny, don't you agree?).

The lactose intolerance/bathroom scene was hilarious. Movie as a whole was pretty dumb.

Back before “Alternative Facts” and "Fake News" PC culture, Trump's deliberate insensitivity, Fox News and Breitbart, there was truth, objective reporting, democracy, competent governance, accountability of politicians and Republicans who upheld the law.
Liberal denials are called "political correctness," but daily, constant lying by Republicans is just "Alternative Facts" in the OP's warped, Nazi brain.
F&F shit-stirring Boris OP.

R13 has trouble with English, and is trolling the wrong thread. Although Kellyanne Conway DOES look like one of the white chicks.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 16, 2020 9:07 PM |
That movie looks really stupid.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 16, 2020 9:16 PM |
If r14 doesn’t know she’s trafficking in right-wing propaganda memes, she’s stupider than Trump!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 16, 2020 9:41 PM |
R8 It made over 110 million globally, what are you talking about?
The movie is the definition of dumb fun. Not everything has to be some kind of philosophical dissertation.
R13 Has stated her boundaries.

It is mindless entertainment - if you don't expect any more than that, you will enjoy it.

rip off of "Some like it Hot", which is still a gut buster.

Which should be the expectation for most things involving the Waynes.

I think it's very funny. I can't think of anyone I would watch it with other than my brother, though.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 17, 2020 7:28 AM |
R20 John Wayne? Wayne Newton? Wayne's World?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 17, 2020 2:51 PM |
I love White Chicks. Like everyone says, it's mindless, stupid entertainment. There is also a small message of walking in others shoes. The Wayans character actually became friends with the real white chicks in the film, so it goes to show the old "walk a mile in another person shoes" theory. The dance off was everything. I think I need to watch that this weekend. The movie felt like it was done in the right spirit.

If this was released today it would get best picture at the oscars.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 17, 2020 4:57 PM |
^ It was a film, not a picture, dumass..

It was a similar deal with Sorority Boys. And there's no way that movie would be made today.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 18, 2020 3:05 AM |
If they couldn’t pass, what was the point of the whole movie?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 18, 2020 3:52 AM |
That movie was so vulgar and offensive I couldn't help laughing 🤣🤣
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 18, 2020 4:17 AM |
I loved it.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 18, 2020 5:01 AM |
R26...
Picture = say cheese! Capturing 1 second
Film = 90 minutes
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 18, 2020 5:11 AM |
The official category is called "Best Picture." That's what the Academy calls it. Remember "motion pictures"?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 18, 2020 5:31 AM |
I have a soft spot for this movie. Terry Crews is HILARIOUS in it.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 18, 2020 8:34 AM |
Do you enjoy being a noxious rigjt-wing troll. OP?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 18, 2020 8:42 AM |
Very funny movie.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 18, 2020 9:04 AM |
Absolutely LOVED this movie, along with Sororities Girls. Some people should just relax and remove that stick up their asses and have a good time. Both movies had hilarious and humorous performances that don't take it self too seriously. I think Micheal Rosenbaum was the shit as Edina.

Miss Wilson you must be worth a trillion bucks. Miss Wilson I get the feeling you don't really give a fuck.
