Le salaire minimum de 23 francs de l’heure s’impose
Geneva Canton just approved a minimum hourly wage of 25 USD an hour. In 2016 the national vote on minimum salary was defeated but Cantons are free to set them. 25 is quite over double Germany's 11 USD an hour.
This is where you Geneva haters can say you wouldn't live and work in Geneva if they paid you 100 bucks an hour!
What SHOULD be the minimum wage in your region? Versus, what it is now.

You need that much money to survive in Geneva. It costs a mint to live there.

Everything in Switzerland is twice the price as it is elsewhere, so $25/hr is what's needed to survive.

When I was in Switzerland 6 years ago, everything cost 3 times what it cost here.
