Granted, they did not give him much time to comply, but they couldn't. They needed to get him under their control as quickly as possible, to be sure he had no opportunity to shoot if he were indeed armed. So they threw him to the ground, cuffed him, and got him back up on his feet immediately. He wasn't hurt. They didn't kick him, beat him, or hold him down with a knee on his neck (or in any other manner). They just did what they needed to do to get him in restraints, then took him to the psych ward, where he needed to be. If anything, it was an example of how policing should be done.

A few months back, I had a severe eye infection that was swollen and looked really horrible and every time I went out I wore very dark sunglasses. Also, it takes really big lenses so the swelling isn’t pressed right up against the lens. The glasses she’s wearing are perfect for black eyes.
