Two Amish brothers who raped their 12 year old sister don't have to go to jail

God, they’re ugly!

by Anonymousreply 1September 24, 2020 11:14 PM

We know.

I'll do you one better, op.

Remember this one? Judge thought defendant was too short for prison.

How many more Amish girls and women are silently suffering? Is this a normal thing within their community?

by Anonymousreply 4September 24, 2020 11:29 PM

I believe it is, r4. I think especially with fathers.

by Anonymousreply 5September 24, 2020 11:34 PM

Yet that black guy got life imprisonments for stealing gardening shears

by Anonymousreply 6September 24, 2020 11:36 PM

They should be eaten alive in the prison system! This is an actual situation where deterrence would be effective. Amish brothers and fathers know they can get away with raping their sisters and daughters. If they knew that they could be imprisoned, that might deter them.

by Anonymousreply 7September 24, 2020 11:38 PM

So what about the other two brothers?

by Anonymousreply 8September 24, 2020 11:46 PM

Sis doesn't look happy.

The other two brothers are minors, according to the article.

by Anonymousreply 10September 24, 2020 11:56 PM

[QUOTE]The memories come to her in fragments. The bed creaking late at night after one of her brothers snuck into her room and pulled her to the edge of her mattress. Her underwear shoved to the side as his body hovered over hers, one of his feet still on the floor.

[QUOTE]Her ripped dresses, the clothespins that bent apart on her apron as another brother grabbed her at dusk by the hogpen after they finished feeding the pigs. Sometimes she’d pry herself free and sprint toward the house, but “they were bigger and stronger,” she says. They usually got what they wanted.

[QUOTE]As a child, Sadie was carefully shielded from outside influences, never allowed to watch TV or listen to pop music or get her learner’s permit. Instead, she attended a one-room Amish schoolhouse and rode a horse and buggy to church—a life designed to be humble and disciplined and godly.

[QUOTE]By age 9, she says, she’d been raped by one of her older brothers. By 12, she’d been abused by her father, a chiropractor who penetrated her with his fingers on the same table where he saw patients, telling her he was “flipping her uterus” to ensure her fertility. By 14, she says, three more brothers had raped her and she was being attacked in the hayloft or in her own bed multiple times a week. She would roll over afterward, ashamed and confused. The sisters who shared Sadie’s room (and even her bed) never woke up—or if they did, never said anything, although some later confided that they were being raped too.

[QUOTE]Sadie’s small world was built around adherence to rules—and keeping quiet was one of them. “There was no love or support,” she says. “We didn’t feel that we had anywhere to go to say anything.” So she didn’t.

And THIS is why they named it Intercourse, PA.

by Anonymousreply 12September 24, 2020 11:56 PM

They look inbred English friars.

by Anonymousreply 13September 25, 2020 12:09 AM

They went to Adam Lanza’s Barber

by Anonymousreply 14September 25, 2020 12:11 AM

Poor girl.

by Anonymousreply 15September 25, 2020 12:12 AM

Conservative Christian family values. Thank god she didn’t abort her inbred flipper fetus! That would have been a straight track to hell!

These people should have their farm firebombed.

by Anonymousreply 16September 25, 2020 12:15 AM

They were just grabbin' pussy

No biggie

by Anonymousreply 17September 25, 2020 12:21 AM

you have no idea how hard it is for Amish women. I used to visit one when she was in her 30's . She told us that she was so tired. She had 8-10 kids. She was up before dawn and didn't go to bed until after dark. The men go to work in the morning, sometimes come home for lunch and then home at dinnertime and they are finished for the day. I have often wondered about her and wondered if she made it. (This was almost 40 years ago)

by Anonymousreply 18September 25, 2020 12:29 AM

Did anybody do anything at all to help her? Didn’t see anything that said they did. She has to live in that house with those four rapists until she gets married. Or Rumspringa, which is years away and she’ll have six kids by then.

by Anonymousreply 19September 25, 2020 12:29 AM

She should have been placed in care when she was first seen for prenatal care. There should be a restraining order preventing all brothers from living in the same home.

The good news is that the Amish are so inbred they will soon be producing offspring incompatible with life.

by Anonymousreply 20September 25, 2020 12:34 AM

OP is worse than Maria Avedici Santoya.

by Anonymousreply 21September 25, 2020 12:43 AM

The sister should drug them and cut off their dicks.

by Anonymousreply 22September 25, 2020 12:50 AM

R22 An eye for an eye

by Anonymousreply 23September 25, 2020 12:52 AM

They are a cult - plain and simple.

Burn them - burn them with fire.

by Anonymousreply 24September 25, 2020 1:05 AM

at least the Amish aren't trying to take over the world.

by Anonymousreply 25September 25, 2020 1:07 AM

I have the poster of the other thread blocked. Anyone else?

I read somewhere about an Amish girl who, when intercourse was explained to her said 'But that's what Uncle X has been doing with me for years'.

by Anonymousreply 26September 25, 2020 1:55 AM

This is also a problem among Hasidim in Brooklyn.

by Anonymousreply 27September 25, 2020 2:02 AM

[QUOTE]

Every secretive, hierarchical society has these problems. Men given absolute power will always use it to subject women and children to various forms of abuse.

by Anonymousreply 28September 25, 2020 10:56 AM

Never mind prison. Let's build a giant trebuchet and catapult their worthless inbred asses into the nearest sewage plant.

by Anonymousreply 29September 25, 2020 11:22 AM

Alice Walker wrote this line in "The Color Purple ": "A girl's just not safe in a family of men.."

by Anonymousreply 30September 25, 2020 11:36 AM

Oh...Fuck that judge for denying that poor girl justice (as well as probably sentencing her to more abuse)

by Anonymousreply 31September 25, 2020 11:38 AM

The one on the right sort of has Heath Ledger vibes— would definitely be turned out in prison on the first day. The left one is totally inbred and disgusting. Both sick human beings. Any culture so insular breeds this behavior and it’s awful on the women.

by Anonymousreply 32September 25, 2020 11:42 AM

That judge doesn't give a shit about the victim and the atrocity she repeatedly suffered. He only cares about the men.

by Anonymousreply 33September 25, 2020 11:48 AM

And just like that, the headlines and attention go “poof” and Amish men get to continue silently subjugating their women and girls to sexual abuse and forced pregnancies. The parents have a household where their sons were all repeatedly raping their daughters with their 13 year old giving birth to a child whose uncle and father are the same person, and we don’t even know their names.

by Anonymousreply 34September 29, 2020 3:36 PM

So I guess Adam Lanza didn't die after all.

by Anonymousreply 35September 29, 2020 3:39 PM

And the little girl who just gave birth to her rapist’s baby will continue to live in that house with her rapists. It’s unbelievable. She sits at a dinner table and eats with them every night.

by Anonymousreply 36September 29, 2020 3:39 PM

I had no idea Supercuts catered to the Amish community.

by Anonymousreply 37September 29, 2020 3:42 PM

Guy on the right has sociopath eyes.

by Anonymousreply 38September 29, 2020 3:43 PM

It looks like they cut their hair with hedge trimmers.

by Anonymousreply 39September 29, 2020 4:18 PM

The judge is probably a rapist too. This case illustrates what is meant by rape culture.

by Anonymousreply 40September 29, 2020 4:27 PM

WOW...it's true they would be eaten alive but only 100 hours of community service?? There should be some other punishment - maybe the Amish do something on the side???

by Anonymousreply 41September 29, 2020 4:28 PM

If all the guys who commit crimes and might be “eaten alive” in prison didn’t see jail time because of it, the prison population would be reduced by 75%. But guess what? We send them to the pen anyway, and they get violated in ways that will haunt them long after they’re released.

by Anonymousreply 42September 29, 2020 5:30 PM

The prosecutor now wants their bail revoked because they contacted their sister. They were permitted to live together but couldn’t speak?

by Anonymousreply 43September 29, 2020 5:55 PM

[QUOTE]Webster County Prosecutor Ben Berkstresster – who has faced calls to resign over the plea agreement he helped broker – has since filed a motion to have their probation revoked. He did so amid mounting fury from locals, who plan to stage a protest over the brothers’ light sentences. Berkstresser claims they breached the terms of their sex offender supervision by contacting their sister. But the prosecutors’s critics say the terms of the sentence he agreed on allowed the rapists to move back into their old home in a close-knit Christian sect.

[QUOTE]Local anti-pedophilia campaigners Tiffany Hill and Mel Pleasant, who want Berkstresser ousted, told Fox8: ‘Why would you send them back to the victim’s house in the first place? That obviously gives them the opportunity to initiate contact.’

[QUOTE]If the brothers have their probation revoked, they face spending the next 15 years behind bars, with a hearing set to take place on October 6. It is unclear whether they have been taken into custody ahead of that court appearance.

by Anonymousreply 44September 29, 2020 6:00 PM

How do the mothers and sisters justify turning a blind eye to this crap? Why don't these women band together and leave these digusting excuses for humankind when they're off working?

by Anonymousreply 45September 29, 2020 6:11 PM

r45, women have very few options in weirdo religious sects, they're taught to be submissive

by Anonymousreply 46September 29, 2020 6:13 PM

With the new violation, they will go to prison....this is not going to end well for them!

by Anonymousreply 47October 14, 2020 9:36 PM

they look retarded, incest made, cross bred..INSANE

by Anonymousreply 48October 14, 2020 9:50 PM

"She was up before dawn and didn't go to bed until after dark. The men go to work in the morning, sometimes come home for lunch and then home at dinnertime and they are finished for the day."

That's how it is pretty much everywhere, lest you're a shitmom.

by Anonymousreply 49October 14, 2020 10:00 PM

Wonder what the Amish thought and how they managed the offense.

by Anonymousreply 50October 14, 2020 10:01 PM

"How do the mothers and sisters justify turning a blind eye to this crap?"

The women in these sects have no authority within their family/social structure, they can't mete out punishments or throw abusers out of the house. They also can't take their daughters and leave, because they have no education or job skills, and none of their in-sect friends or relatives will help them defy their husband's gold-given authority or break up a family.

"Wonder what the Amish thought and how they managed the offense."

They'll ostracize that slut of a 12-year-old girl.

by Anonymousreply 51October 15, 2020 2:07 AM

R50 Yeah, I'm sure the girl was the one punished by the community

by Anonymousreply 52October 15, 2020 10:09 PM

The right wing nutters who warn that sharia courts are being set up all over the U.S. turn a blind eye to the alternative systems of justice allowed for fringe Christian and Jewish sects and white cults.

From the Hassids in NYC boroughs to the inbred Fundamentalist LDS freaks in Colorado City to Scientologists in S. California and Clearwater, FL. They're secretive and criminal and dole out their own twisted justice. The U.S. government is too cowed by right wing Christian extremists for fear of being accused of violating First Amendment freedoms. It's a miracle practically that Warren Jeffs of the Texas branch of FLDS was brought to justice.

by Anonymousreply 53October 16, 2020 12:02 AM

R52, actually in the Amish community the rapists were probably “forgiven” and they probably high pressured the girl to “forgive” them too, and made her ashamed of herself for complaining about being raped. Then they probably put everything right back how it was before.

by Anonymousreply 54October 16, 2020 3:52 AM

The one on the right is a regulation hottie.
