Why do we STILL not have enough testing?

The administration said that would be plenty of tests many months ago?

Because we elected a reality TV star president, rose!

This is ridiculous. This administration needs to be replaced to save us.

Because 90% of our medical products are manufactured in China, and many of their supplies (including tests) had to be sent back because they were faulty and covered in Covid-19. The wartime Defense Production Act was reinstated so that the government could commission car companies like Ford and Tesla to create their own supplies for Americans. Tests are not so easy to manufacture if your manufacturing has been outsourced for the last 30 years in prior administrations.

Oh, and Drumpf.

Too late. Trump refused to use DPA for ages. Should’ve done it right away.

If we had enough testing; we could have been on par with other countries months ago.

When did America stop making things? When did it stop trying to solve problems?

America started sending industry from the north to the south in the 1970s, when air conditioning became uses expensive & less cumbersome. In the 80s, they decided to go further south and went to Mexico. When there was no blowback from Americans as factories closed down & industry left the country, everyone did it.
