The tone of OP!s statement is off-putting but it is worth discussion. I want Biden to win and the bottom line to me is whether she will attract more votes than she repels. I don’t know. Everyone always says no one votes for the VP but maybe this is different given Biden’s age.

There are a pool of voters who are going to vote for Trump, there is a larger pool of voters who will never vote for Trump concentrated in urban areas, there is a tiny minority in the middle who will determine the outcome. The ones who would be bothered by Harris were never going to vote for Biden regardless of who he picked. Remember people use to claim middle America would never vote for a black man.
