At last!
**BREAKING** CNN just announced Biden has made his pick, and we will get the announcement probably today
by Anonymous | reply 100 | August 11, 2020 9:02 PM |
Why so soon?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 11, 2020 6:56 PM |
FUCKING FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 11, 2020 7:00 PM |
It was expected Wednesday or Thursday at the latest r1. Today would just be a day early.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 11, 2020 7:00 PM |
Will it be Kamala Harris or Kamala Harris?!
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 11, 2020 7:01 PM |
Place your bets. I think it will be Kamala, although Tammy Duckworth is my fav. But I'm voting for Joe and whomever he chooses no matter what.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 11, 2020 7:02 PM |
It's Ellen!
She's very popular right now.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 11, 2020 7:03 PM |
Normally the VP pick isn't announced before the convention. I don't see the rush. Are we THAT desperate for immediate gratification?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 11, 2020 7:07 PM |
It better be a strong, black woman!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 11, 2020 7:08 PM |
Well the conventions were delayed this year r8. Hillary announced Tim Kaine on July 22nd.
And it was Biden himself who gave himself the deadline that he was going to announce his Veep the first week of August (a deadline he missed)
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 11, 2020 7:09 PM |
Normally the VP pick isn't announced before the convention.
That's not true. Going back to Ferraro at least, all the Dem VP picks have been announced the week before the convention.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 11, 2020 7:10 PM |
it has to be a black woman, regardless of her qualifications, or else I’ll vote against my own interests and vote Trump.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 11, 2020 7:12 PM |
If he actually did make the pick, he'll announce it today lest it gets leaked first.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 11, 2020 7:16 PM |
Biden is making the choice? Doubtful. This choice will be made by the Democratic corporate-run establishment and he'll just announce it.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 11, 2020 7:17 PM |
I'm getting my California flag as we speak ! Pretty soon you will all bow to us!!!
World domination is just around the corner.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 11, 2020 7:23 PM |
I hope it's Kamala. I love her.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 11, 2020 7:25 PM |
I hope it's not Dan Quayle.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 11, 2020 7:26 PM |
I've spent hours auditioning for the role.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 11, 2020 7:27 PM |
Apparently in the last day of the convention the speakers will be the following:
[bold]THURSDAY: Joe Biden, [bold]Tammy Duckworth, Kamala Harris[/bold]
It's between these two, isn't it? Oh the suspense and drama.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 11, 2020 7:28 PM |
Trying to read anything into the convential schedule is silly. They know people would try to do that. They purposefully used misdirection with Tim Kaine with the convention schedule for last cycle.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 11, 2020 7:30 PM |
What day did Tim Kaine appear?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 11, 2020 7:36 PM |
What if it's a COMPLETE SURPRISE?
Whoppi Goldberg
by Anonymous | reply 22 | August 11, 2020 7:37 PM |
"Whoppi Goldberg" would indeed be a complete surprise.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 11, 2020 7:39 PM |
Biden/Streisand 2020
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 11, 2020 7:39 PM |
[R8] Not true. Presidential nominees often announce their choice of running mates in the days and weeks leading up to the nominating conventions. Only twice in modern history have the presidential nominees waited until the conventions to break the news to the public and their parties.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 11, 2020 7:40 PM |
Ew the DNC lineup doesn’t have Tulsi speaking. The only WOC to receive delegates.
The DNC are such hypocritical cuntboxes. I hope it’s Kam just so I can feel 100% confident in not voting for these jokers. 🥰
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 11, 2020 7:41 PM |
I'm kind of still holding out for Tammy.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 11, 2020 7:45 PM |
Announcement today.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 11, 2020 7:46 PM |
^It's the no matter who it is it's a horrible choice, so I'm out, troll. Get ready for the first 20 posts after the decision.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 11, 2020 7:46 PM |
The VP speaks on Wednesday. The Presidential nominee speaks on Thursday. If Tammy and Kamala are speaking on Thursday, it’s probably not them.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 11, 2020 7:49 PM |

You’re not offer-only, dear? At your age?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | August 11, 2020 7:50 PM |
Biden has told Karen Bass it's not her, according to Dana Bash.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 11, 2020 7:51 PM |
Well it's officially not Karen Bass
Rep. Karen Bass was told by Biden himself that she was not the pick, a source familiar tells CNN.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 11, 2020 7:52 PM |
Republicans will have a field day with Rice. I pray it is anyone but her!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 11, 2020 7:53 PM |
They'd have a field day with anyone with a vagina and non-white skin. Biden knows what to expect.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 11, 2020 7:54 PM |
Republicans would love Tulsi!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 11, 2020 7:56 PM |
One Down!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 11, 2020 7:56 PM |
My loins are on fire.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 11, 2020 7:56 PM |
I'm cool with Duckworth, Harris, or Warren. I'm voting Biden no matter what, but I think Susan Rice would not be a plus for him. That said, I trust his team to make good decisions.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 11, 2020 8:05 PM |
I've said it before and will say it again. It'll be Florida Senator Val Demmings. :)
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 11, 2020 8:05 PM |
Joe Biden could pick a fucking monkey and I would still vote for him...AND EVERY DAMN ONE OF YOU NEEDS TO SHUT UP AND GET BEHIND WHOEVER IT IS.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 11, 2020 8:05 PM |
Val Demings alledgedly was spotted this morning buying a new wig. You don't suppose......
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 11, 2020 8:05 PM |
It’s not a done deal till he opens his mouth and says who it is.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 11, 2020 8:06 PM |
R42, she’s a rep.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 11, 2020 8:07 PM |
I’d vote for that ticket.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 11, 2020 8:08 PM |
^r40
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 11, 2020 8:08 PM |
Oh dear!
If you have said it many times r42, you'd think by now you would have learned Val Demmings is not a Senator.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | August 11, 2020 8:09 PM |
It's not Governor Whitmer
It’s not Whitmer, Dems tell @katieglueck
by Anonymous | reply 51 | August 11, 2020 8:11 PM |
r42, it will be odd to keep saying its "Senator Val Demings" after it's revealed to be someone else, but whatever floats your boat.
by Anonymous | reply 52 | August 11, 2020 8:12 PM |
He told everyone from the beginning who it will be:
“Biden will select a person who is "totally simpatico" with him philosophically. Still, the former vice president said he wants someone who's also comfortable enough with him to argue with him privately when they disagree. “
Think about who fits that best.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | August 11, 2020 8:12 PM |
2 Down!
by Anonymous | reply 54 | August 11, 2020 8:12 PM |
If it's not Whitmer then it will be a racial minority. She was the only serious white candidate left at this point.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | August 11, 2020 8:12 PM |
Is he faxing them one by one? Snuffing their torches?
"Karen, I'm sorry. Your tour ends here. Now, sashay away."
by Anonymous | reply 56 | August 11, 2020 8:14 PM |
Yep r55. It is now safe to say a woman of color is going to be veep.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | August 11, 2020 8:15 PM |
Pretty sure the choice is Suzie Rice.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | August 11, 2020 8:15 PM |
Somebody get me senator Warren and Harris' schedule, stat.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | August 11, 2020 8:15 PM |
It's HARRIS! Confirmed!
by Anonymous | reply 60 | August 11, 2020 8:16 PM |
Go fuck yourself Trumptard R27.
by Anonymous | reply 61 | August 11, 2020 8:16 PM |
It’s not Stacey Abrams.
CNN is reporting it’s Harris.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | August 11, 2020 8:17 PM |
It's' Harris. CBS just broke into Judge Judy.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | August 11, 2020 8:18 PM |
Oh wow
by Anonymous | reply 65 | August 11, 2020 8:18 PM |
As far as I can tell Yashar was the first person to break this on twitter, though everyone else is confirming now. I don't know how that guy got so well connected.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | August 11, 2020 8:18 PM |
Huge sigh of relief! I know people will bitch and moan, but this is really the best choice to make the most people happy. Thank you Biden.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | August 11, 2020 8:19 PM |
Well that locks up the California vote!!!
by Anonymous | reply 68 | August 11, 2020 8:19 PM |
Biden confirmed on twitter
by Anonymous | reply 69 | August 11, 2020 8:19 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 71 | August 11, 2020 8:19 PM |
Kamala! Damn!
by Anonymous | reply 72 | August 11, 2020 8:19 PM |
After all the drama, it was the person who has been the most obvious pick the entire time.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | August 11, 2020 8:20 PM |
I am crying tears of happiness. Thank you god.
Fuck you deplorables. You are all going to hell !!!
by Anonymous | reply 74 | August 11, 2020 8:20 PM |
Joe Biden's website is already update to show the two of them.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | August 11, 2020 8:21 PM |
Well, there goes the BernieBro vote.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | August 11, 2020 8:21 PM |
Joe Biden @JoeBiden · 3m I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | August 11, 2020 8:22 PM |
OMG. It IS HARRIS...
by Anonymous | reply 78 | August 11, 2020 8:22 PM |
Hahah hahahha this bitch!
by Anonymous | reply 79 | August 11, 2020 8:22 PM |
Kamala.
Okay let’s do this. Nov 3rd.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | August 11, 2020 8:23 PM |
He’s already got 100K likes in 6 minutes.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | August 11, 2020 8:24 PM |
Given the realistic options, this is probably the best choice.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | August 11, 2020 8:24 PM |
Excellent!
by Anonymous | reply 83 | August 11, 2020 8:25 PM |
Many people are saying white men will be offended by this choice. So offended. Many people are saying so. I am hearing so many people.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | August 11, 2020 8:25 PM |
Now Sally Yates for Attorney General.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | August 11, 2020 8:26 PM |
The Tulsi troll always cracks me up. Great parody ! More please. xo
by Anonymous | reply 86 | August 11, 2020 8:29 PM |
the trolls who complained he was taking to long to announce now complained he should wait till after the convention
by Anonymous | reply 87 | August 11, 2020 8:31 PM |
Will Gavin Newsom appoint himself to fill her Senate Seat? If not who gets it, Eric Swalwell maybe.
by Anonymous | reply 88 | August 11, 2020 8:32 PM |
R85 - I think that position should go to Adam Schiff.
by Anonymous | reply 89 | August 11, 2020 8:34 PM |
Maybe they will give it Bass as a conciliation prize.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | August 11, 2020 8:35 PM |
Yay Kammie Yay
by Anonymous | reply 91 | August 11, 2020 8:37 PM |
R88, I think Garcetti wants the seat.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | August 11, 2020 8:38 PM |
Eric Garcetti was in the selection committee. There is no way he doesn't gun for that Senate seat.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | August 11, 2020 8:38 PM |
R93, he was so happy when interviewed that Biden made his choice
by Anonymous | reply 94 | August 11, 2020 8:39 PM |
I really thought Kamala Harris would hold out for a Supreme Court appointment. Being Vice President is not a shoe in to be the next President.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | August 11, 2020 8:41 PM |
R95, it’s not but she wants to be president and Supreme Court justice is no way to that. Obama for Supreme Court.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | August 11, 2020 8:43 PM |
the trolls who complained he was taking to long to announce
Oh, dear!
by Anonymous | reply 97 | August 11, 2020 8:44 PM |
Being Vice President is not a shoe in
A shoe in?
You mean a shoo in.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | August 11, 2020 8:46 PM |
After Elizabeth Warren, I feel Kamala Harris was the best VP choice.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | August 11, 2020 8:48 PM |
I don't particularly care for Senator Harris, and I think Senator Warren was probably more qualified, but Kamala was the best option of those who remained (once Klobuchar was #blm-ed).
