His accuser, Karla Elizabeth Dominguez Gonzalez, had testified against him in court in December of last year.
Bouaichi was jailed in Alexandria, VA without bond until the pandemic hit, at which point his lawyers argued for his release until trial due to the virus "endangering" inmates. He was released by Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins on $25,000 bond as a result.
Judge Dawkins retired from the bench in June.
Authorities said that federal marshals and Alexandria police spotted and pursued Bouaichi in Prince George's County on Wednesday. He crashed his vehicle and apparently shot himself, authorities said.

With the tens of thousands of criminals who have been pushed out into the streets this is only the tip of the iceberg. Not to mention the countless more who have been given free release by SJW prosecutors like Foxx in Chicago dismissing their cases outright.
