Melatonin...paging Dr. Datalounge

How many mg should I take to help me sleep? TIA.

5mg should be good

Less is more when it comes to melatonin, between 0.5 and 3 mg.

A handful usually does the trick for me!

Try 3 mg.

by Anonymousreply 4August 5, 2020 5:08 AM

Start with 1mg.

I had horrible insomnia and started out with 5mg, because I figured more was better. I was insanely drowsy the next day.

I went down to 1mg to see what that did, and I slept great. I take that regularly. Sometimes 1.5mg if I keep tossing and turning. But no more than that.

Skip the melatonin and go for propofol
