Uh...seems on brand?

At least it's something without an existing movie version.

Looks pretty woke. Can they merch it to death?

This will make a scary "It's a Small World" ride reboot.

So what Disney channel stars are they going to get to star in it besides Jordan Fisher as Daniel and Zendaya as Ti Moune?

I saw a regional theater production of this years ago, and I was bored out of my mind.

It was so simplistic, it felt like it was written by a college student.

Is this a Lin Manuel joint?

by Anonymousreply 8July 31, 2020 2:30 PM

Saw this production last year. Didn’t really enjoy it at all except the ending which was “tragic” in the original Hans Christian Anderson ‘Little Mermaid’ way. But still utterly ham-fisted. It’s truly disappointing what qualifies to be made into a production these days.

r8 No, it's an Ahrens/Flaherty joint. Like "Ragtime," "Anastasia," "Seussical."
