Susan Gordon (the producer/director's daughter) is a laughably bad actress.

It's great when you suck as an actress but still get roles because your dad's a director

Hedy Lamar on the set of the film in 1966. She was fired and replaced by Zsa Zsa.

R7, why was Hedy fired?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 31, 2020 1:03 AM |
R8 because she was “stealing” ...focus.

R8 Hedy was caught shoplifting in a store and subsequently fired from her 'comeback' movie. Considering how bad the movie turned out to be Hedy may have dodged a bullet.

It's about time! Cinematic classics like this should be preserved and rereleased for every generation to appreciate.

In her bio, Hedy took a dig at Zsa Zsa in her very first paragraph:
[quote] On a recent evening, sitting home alone suffering and brooding about my treatment at the police station because of an incident in a department store, and being replaced by Zsa Zsa Gabor in a motion picture (imagine how that pleased the ego!)

Hedy had another shoplifting incident in 1991.
HEDY LAMARR CHARGED IN SHOPLIFTING CASE
Hedy Lamarr, the Austrian movie siren once billed as the most beautiful woman alive, was arrested on shoplifting charges Thursday.
Lamarr, a worldwide symbol of glamour in such 1930s and '40s films as Ecstacy, Algiers and Samson and Delilah, was charged with stealing $21.48 worth of laxative tablets and eye drops from an Eckerd drugstore.
