R23 I made that comment about her bilking medicare/ medicaid mainly on a hunch. But if as you said that she is running a home health business then big red flags! Home health is one of the easiest healthcare businesses to scam the government.

For instance, the business can bill for services not provided during visits and these immigrant patients usually don’t say anything. This is because they don’t know they’re being used this way or they’re so grateful to be getting any sort of care that they keep their mouths shut.

The fact that she also runs a church means she’s getting a lot of patients through it. This makes for possible ethical violations medically not just due to the interface between the nonprofit church and for-profit home health business. This is a big no.
