Go Starbucks!

by Anonymousreply 3June 29, 2020 5:36 PM

All these companies are getting press just for “pausing”, but in reality they know that Facebook will have to succumb to demands and they get to experiment with a smaller ad budget, which for a major brand like Starbucks won’t change much so it becomes just more money in their already bloated coffers. We’ll praise them when they make some MASSIVE donations of their massive profits.

Facebook is trash.

by Anonymousreply 5June 29, 2020 5:52 PM

CANCEL THEM! CANCEL, CANCEL!

by Anonymousreply 6June 29, 2020 5:54 PM

Fake news.

We're in a depression. ALL companies are cutting back on advertising. Quit trying to reclassify a business cut in operating expenditures it into an exploitive political stunt.

Companies are cost cutting and performing layoffs to maintain the bottom line.

R7, indeed. It’s a rather face-saving move, sounds like.

by Anonymousreply 8June 29, 2020 5:59 PM

Fuck Facebook

by Anonymousreply 9June 29, 2020 6:18 PM

At least they are doing something.
