All these companies are getting press just for “pausing”, but in reality they know that Facebook will have to succumb to demands and they get to experiment with a smaller ad budget, which for a major brand like Starbucks won’t change much so it becomes just more money in their already bloated coffers. We’ll praise them when they make some MASSIVE donations of their massive profits.

We're in a depression. ALL companies are cutting back on advertising. Quit trying to reclassify a business cut in operating expenditures it into an exploitive political stunt.
