This originally had a December 2020 release, when all of the prestige Oscar-bait movies come out. Now it's got a release date of August 2021, which is a graveyard (unless it's a superhero/big budget action movie that wasn't released for July 4th).
So wtf? How'd it go from a prime date to a garbage date?

I don't know. Aretha's life story is so complicated we'll never get the true story. But most rock bio pics are highly fictionalized anyway.
