I watched the first few seasons of the show and I remember how she would always have Nia doing some African themed thing. Her mother would challenge Abby Lee, but there was never any real backlash. The woman got famous by abusing kids and parents alike for years (regardless of race), and went to prison for fraud, but this is the straw that broke the bitch’s back?

I don't know HOW Abby thinks she was part of "the country club" crowd.

I watched the show occasionally the first few years, but it was hard to tell how much was her regular bitch self vs. reality show fodder. The only other thing that I recall is some really interesting choreography for the dance competitions.

I thought Dance Moms Miami was much better.

I thought Kim of Queens was better than all of this shit!

Many of the Dance Moms "contests" were staged. They were not real competitions, just filmed for the show with pre-determined results and script.
