Apparently OP, assholes post pictures of it.

by Anonymousreply 1June 5, 2020 5:25 PM

You sound unpleasant, OP.

by Anonymousreply 2June 5, 2020 5:26 PM

The word hero is the most overused word in the English language. Everyone is a hero now.

by Anonymousreply 3June 5, 2020 5:30 PM

All I have to say is that that is some green motherfucking grass.

by Anonymousreply 4June 5, 2020 6:10 PM

R3 yes. If everyone is a “ hero” or “ special “ then no one is either.

by Anonymousreply 5June 6, 2020 1:07 AM

Everyone gets a medal!

by Anonymousreply 6June 6, 2020 9:44 AM

Or a trophy!

They certainly post here, OP

"A TRUE hero seeks no notice, no reward, no status. He is humble, and always modest."

by Anonymousreply 9June 6, 2020 11:42 AM

OP Have you tried prune juice?

by Anonymousreply 10June 6, 2020 12:18 PM

I feel like you can throw the Veteran’s and their sacrifice in the mix. I’m supposed to be thankful for some random guy that couldn’t get into college who played with guns against some imaginary boogie man? I bet more than half of Americans don’t even know or care which conflict we are in. These veterans are somehow different from Vietnam which had the draft.

by Anonymousreply 11June 6, 2020 12:36 PM

No r11. You have the freedom to write that because those veterans fought for that.

by Anonymousreply 12June 6, 2020 1:11 PM

Beats giving them a raise...

by Anonymousreply 13June 6, 2020 1:25 PM

R11 - I feel like this statement is what is used to brainwash the veterans into believing what they do is important and they’re not just a cog in the military industrial complex that is a capitalist motivation. Rinse repeat.

by Anonymousreply 14June 6, 2020 1:55 PM

How many vets died 76 years ago today storming the Normandy beaches?

by Anonymousreply 15June 6, 2020 1:56 PM

As a nurse I at least like the acknowledgement that what I do can make a difference. Especially if what I do for work can kill me.

by Anonymousreply 16June 6, 2020 2:04 PM

Many nurses are bullies.

by Anonymousreply 17June 6, 2020 2:17 PM

Yeah, I couldn't be in healthcare for any money. Especially right now

by Anonymousreply 18June 6, 2020 2:20 PM

OP pic is of Peace Harbor, a 21-bed convalescent and trauma center in Florence, Oregon.

That is an odd choice for one to berate.

by Anonymousreply 19June 6, 2020 2:28 PM

Are you jealous, OP?

by Anonymousreply 20June 6, 2020 2:33 PM

R17 Absolutely true

by Anonymousreply 21June 6, 2020 2:39 PM

Everyone's always been grateful to nurses R16 and more importantly doctors. Even though it is true that most nurses do nothing except gossip and engage in medical malpractice.

by Anonymousreply 22June 6, 2020 2:41 PM

R16, as a Nurse, damnit, YOU like the acknowledgement that Papa John's computer notices you're on your NINTH pizza order and your TENTH will be FREE!

J/K
