Trump is an unmitigated disaster. Before COVID-19, I would have said he had a decent shot at winning re-election, but now that the economy is in the toilet and unemployment is at an all-time high, he has no shot. The only thing he had going for him was coasting on the good economy, and even that he wasn't responsible for.

Trump might not even make it to the GOP convention. If Mitch McConnell thinks Trump might cause McConnell to lose his seat in Kentucky, all he has to do is call Nancy Pelosi and ask her to send over an article of impeachment. And POOF! He would be gone.

Yes OP you are right. He barely squeaked by the first time while losing the popular vote by millions. Of course there are people that held their nose and voted for him and will never again, Republicans who have left the party, some loudly (see The Lincoln Project) some whose family members died from Covid19 do to his ignoring it, some who have permanently lost their jobs because of his actions, and now have disapproved of his handing the protests. With them all out and millions rallying behind Biden, sure he'll win again.
