Woah. The pause is deafening.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau pauses for over 20 seconds before answering questions about Trump

There's no defending the indefensible.

Someone tell him to shave off his beard please! Ok the haircut needs to change too.

Where were all the national leaders issuing replies like this at the height of the AIDS plague. Replace 'gay' with black, in Trudeau's reply (I'm not singling him out). When did we ever ONCE hear something like this coming from a leader of a nation?
My intent isn't to hijack this thread. In fact, it wasn't even a clear thought until I heard Trudea speak. And I love the beard.
I also think his reply was erudite and shows what a smart and well thought out mind he possesses.

The interview was time delayed. The interviewers know this but we're trying to make drama.

Were.

R5, during the 1980's AIDS-era there were a lot of right-wingers in power.
Eg. Reagan (US), Thatcher (UK), Mulroney (Canada).
So that's probably one of the reasons why fewer people spoke out at the time. It was celebrities like Liz Taylor who got the ball rolling.
And of course Justin Trudeau was only a boy at the time.

Trudeau looks so narrow shouldered there.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | June 3, 2020 10:02 AM |
I'd like to run my fingers through his hair. The beard has gone a little Grizzly Adams.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | June 3, 2020 10:26 AM |
I actually like both the beard and the hair.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | June 3, 2020 10:31 AM |
Shave the beard. Cut the hair. Keep stumbling trying to answer questions about Trump. The pause was perfect.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | June 3, 2020 10:39 AM |
The beard is hot as hell. The hairstyle not so much.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 3, 2020 11:05 AM |
Trudeau's speech was very good.

Someone tell him to shave that stupid beard and put some product in his hair.

Socialists in Canada (like Bernie Sanders) is using Trudeau silence literally
Blasting him for being "silent" in denouncing Trump - which they says he needs to do NOW
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 3, 2020 4:09 PM |
Perfect response. Never mentioned the racist, sexist, irresponsible imbecile's name once. And the contrast between Trudeau's response and that of the imbecile was deafening.

Socialists in Canada continue to BLAST Justin Trudeau for his appalling lack of action in denouncing Donald Trump
If Trudeau won't stand up to Trump, how will regular people asks the Socialist leader in Canada Jagmeet Singh?
Trudeau's silence was deafening, Singh said Wednesday.
"The prime minister of Canada has to call out the hatred and racism happening just south of the border and if the prime minister can't do that how can everyday people be expected to stand up?" Singh said Wednesday.
"The prime minister should lead by example."
Trudeau has long ducked questions calling on him to respond to statements by the U.S. president, repeating -- as he did Tuesday -- that Canadians expect their government to focus on them.
But Singh said that's not acceptable.
He called Trump's actions reprehensible, accusing the president of inflaming hatred and divisions, fuelling racism and putting people's lives at risk.
"There are times when we have to be strategic and there are times when we have to stand up for what's right," he said.
"And this is one of those times you have to stand up for what's right."

Re: the beard and shaggy hair -
Justin is following the pandemic plan his advisors currently have in place - we are in Phase 1 of opening; hair-stylists are not able to open yet. He is merely joining in the rest of us shaggy Canucks in solidarity and compliance with his governments directives.
Re: r22 post -
The opposition will say anything to get air time these days, rightly or wrongly.

R22, Justin Trudeau blasted that racist, sexist, irresponsible imbecile without mentioning his name once. And that is how it should be. As the head of government in Canada and as a world leader, Trudeau simply cannot condemn that imbecile, because the USA is a close ally and trading partner with Canada. it would not be politic of him. Trudeau condemned him loudly with that response. Trudeau has plausible deniability. Unless it's pointed out to him, the imbecile won't understand it.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 3, 2020 4:39 PM |
No one cares what cryin' Jagmeet has to say anymore, R22.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 3, 2020 4:41 PM |
I call that hairstyle "turban hair". Never an attractive look on anyone.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 3, 2020 6:26 PM |
What is the length and thickness of Justin's hard cock?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 4, 2020 10:39 AM |
R27, ask Emmanuel Macron.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 4, 2020 11:06 AM |
I'm quite sure PM Trudeau's member is perfectly formed, easily engorged, and aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the orifice(s).
