That is absurd that he was found not guilty.

It doesn't matter WHY you committed a crime.

Now, if it went into sentencing, I can understand that he might get the minimum. But, the bottom line is that he entered someone's home with a weapon.

Dear god, stupid has actually become a defense for committing crimes.
