Help! My eyelid had started twitching!

What’s happening?

by Anonymousreply 53June 4, 2020 1:37 PM

What kinds of prescription medicines do you take?

by Anonymousreply 1May 27, 2020 5:49 PM

It's an early symptom of serious coronavirus infection - you should go to an emergency room immediately.

Can we have your stuff?

by Anonymousreply 2May 27, 2020 5:50 PM

Repressed aggression?

I twitch when I have too much caffeine but also when I'm engaged in tense situations.

by Anonymousreply 3May 27, 2020 5:51 PM

Jerk off a couple of times.

by Anonymousreply 4May 27, 2020 5:52 PM

I diagnose an eyelid twitch. That will be $375.

by Anonymousreply 5May 27, 2020 5:59 PM

OP, I get eyelid twitches and sometimes lip twitches if I'm overcaffeinating myself.

by Anonymousreply 6May 27, 2020 6:01 PM

Tape a lit firecracker to it. Will stop the twitch.

by Anonymousreply 7May 27, 2020 6:01 PM

It's stress. Nothing serious. Try to breath and it will stop eventually.

by Anonymousreply 8May 27, 2020 6:03 PM

Drink more water.

by Anonymousreply 9May 27, 2020 6:04 PM

You have a brain tumor, OP. Its affecting your facial nerves.

by Anonymousreply 10May 27, 2020 6:05 PM

Cooties. Did you get your cootie shot? It doesn't matter anyway because it's too late.

by Anonymousreply 11May 27, 2020 6:05 PM

Are your affairs in order, OP?

by Anonymousreply 12May 27, 2020 6:11 PM

Can I have your stuff, OP?

by Anonymousreply 13May 27, 2020 6:13 PM

It can come from too much reading, and especially from too much time spent online. Just give it a rest and it will go away or become less frequent.

by Anonymousreply 14May 27, 2020 6:13 PM

Get more sleep.

by Anonymousreply 15May 27, 2020 6:14 PM

Say a prayer to St. Lucy, patron saint of eyeballs and pussies like yourself.

by Anonymousreply 16May 27, 2020 6:17 PM

Nerves. Are you the nervous type?

by Anonymousreply 17May 27, 2020 6:20 PM

most often a combination of fatigue and dehydration

by Anonymousreply 18May 27, 2020 6:28 PM

I think it’s stress.

by Anonymousreply 19May 27, 2020 6:28 PM

What's on your Ipod?

by Anonymousreply 20May 27, 2020 6:28 PM

R18 I have that too.

by Anonymousreply 21May 27, 2020 6:28 PM

Its stress happens to me often.

by Anonymousreply 22May 27, 2020 6:38 PM

Onset of Parkinson's?

by Anonymousreply 23May 27, 2020 7:03 PM

I third the idea that it could be from inadequate sleep.

by Anonymousreply 24May 27, 2020 7:20 PM

It’s tardive dyskinesia. A side effect of important medications that you take for your bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.

by Anonymousreply 25May 27, 2020 7:45 PM

Try Botox, which was originally developed for chronic eye twitches

by Anonymousreply 26May 27, 2020 9:26 PM

Same thing happened to me 0P. It tends to happen when I’m tired, drive too much, or I am on computer too long.

Can someone help me with my chin spasm? What the hell does that mean?

by Anonymousreply 27May 27, 2020 9:28 PM

Parkinson Disease.

by Anonymousreply 28May 27, 2020 9:43 PM

by Anonymousreply 29May 27, 2020 9:44 PM

Gurl, youz in danegah! Youz gonna die!!!

by Anonymousreply 30May 27, 2020 9:46 PM

It's stress. Try to find some calming tools for you mind!

by Anonymousreply 31May 27, 2020 9:52 PM

Caffeine and stress.

I get it and optimistically hope it's Parkinsons but realistically know it's ALS.

by Anonymousreply 32May 27, 2020 9:52 PM

Janet Reno had twitching eyes and chin. Then she died.

by Anonymousreply 33May 27, 2020 9:55 PM

Can I have your stuff OP RIP?

by Anonymousreply 34May 27, 2020 10:50 PM

Take HUGE vacas from your iPhone 📲 and/or computer screen!

by Anonymousreply 35May 27, 2020 11:00 PM

Too much screen time

by Anonymousreply 36May 27, 2020 11:09 PM

It's your higher self trying to communicate a desperate message in morse code to the outside world! I'll talk to my guides to ask what the fuck it is you're trying to say.

by Anonymousreply 37May 28, 2020 12:51 AM

Your eye is clearly going to pop out of its socket.

by Anonymousreply 38May 28, 2020 1:01 AM

Your eyelid is twitching. Next?

by Anonymousreply 39May 28, 2020 1:02 AM

Eye strain. Go take a nap.

by Anonymousreply 40May 28, 2020 1:33 AM

Maybe dehydration or electrolyte imbalance

by Anonymousreply 41May 28, 2020 4:27 AM

I was going to answer you right away but apparently Data Lounge went on a five day prime for me so I couldn't, I hope you can still read this.

I had this issue and since I have great insurance I went to many doctors. I was so paranoid I though I had ALS. It turns out it was just eye strain for using too much my phone + PC.

I was asked to take some vitamin B complex and just rest my eyes, taking breaks of 5 minutes every 1 or 2 hours and turning my phone 30 minutes before going to bed.

It still twitched for over 2 months, but it eventually went away.

by Anonymousreply 42June 4, 2020 6:42 AM

I forgot to mention stress was a huge factor too.

by Anonymousreply 43June 4, 2020 6:43 AM

Your reaction say it all, calm down Mary

by Anonymousreply 44June 4, 2020 7:09 AM

Your reaction say it all, calm down Mary

by Anonymousreply 45June 4, 2020 7:09 AM

I get it once or twice a year. I asked the doctor about it. He told me not to worry about it. I found squeezing my eyelid helps it go away.

by Anonymousreply 46June 4, 2020 7:11 AM

That happens to me when I'm not getting enough sleep. It's always the left eye that's affected. It's been happening for the last few days, as a matter of fact.

by Anonymousreply 47June 4, 2020 8:55 AM

All the above posters make great points. When I've had it in the past, it was because of stress, lack of sleep, and downright paranoia. Once I was able to calm down and just breathe--and realize that this, too, shall pass--the twitching didn't immediately stop, but it devolved until it no longer was a problem. The last time I had it was right before I went to a job interview last summer. I immediately did some breathing exercises during my drive to the interview, and was able to confidently interview and get the job. I've not have it occur since then.

by Anonymousreply 48June 4, 2020 10:12 AM

Mine’s twitching too! It must be all those 5G towers!!!

Scoundrels!!!!

It's all the gluten you're eating.

by Anonymousreply 50June 4, 2020 12:31 PM

It’s stress and possibly you need some magnesium. Easy fix.

by Anonymousreply 51June 4, 2020 12:41 PM

R42, yeah, what was that all about? No matter what time, day or night, whatever thread. I just stopped coming here.

glad I checked back in.

by Anonymousreply 52June 4, 2020 12:44 PM

Still don't know R52. I'm not a troll, I have a good track record of WWs, I'm not even a controversial person. I still can't start a thread, though I have only started 2 threads in the last 2 years so I don't really mind that restriction.
