Arizona. Georgia. Texas.

They are on the way for the Democrats electorally.

I don’t live in any of these states.

For anyone who does, please tell us what life is like as a resident.

(Thank you!)

Arizona maybe. Georgia and Texas are a waste of time and will not be actively pursued by the Biden campaign. There's no electoral college purpose for sinking a penny into GA or TX. Campaigns cost money. Staff on the ground, the most important expense of a campaign (even more than advertising these days) costs money.

THERE IS NO SCENARIO WHERE BIDEN WINS TEXAS OR GEORGIA BUT LOSES WISCONSIN AND PENNSYLVANIA. If he wins GA OR TX, it's because he already had an electoral college victory and is padding his margin. The states are irrelevant.

Arizona is going blue. They just elected a Bisexual Senator.

Texas is about the Senate seat and more House of Representatives wins for Dems.

Georgia is trash.

Thank you R1. Spend the money (a lot of it) in WI, PA and MI.

Wisconsin is staying red.

The only certainties are Arizona and Pennsylvania going blue. Every other swing state is a toss up at best.

Is there even going to be an election this year? I heard it might be postponed.

by Anonymousreply 5May 27, 2020 4:15 AM

We've been hearing about those same three states for 20 years. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

by Anonymousreply 6May 27, 2020 7:39 PM

I agree r1.

Arizona is worth a real investment. If the Biden is winning Texas and Georgia it is because he is already winning in a landslide.

I can see Arizona turning blue. It has a lot of California transplants and a young Latino population. Their demographics are shifting in a way that is not favorable to the GOP's most reliable base.

I don't know enough about the other two states.

The Dems just won that senate race in Arizona in 2018, there are real indications that Arizon can be picked up.
