There is nothing that can be done. Many idiots voted them in when it was already entirely apparent they were a bunch of venal, incompetent liars. Starmer will hold Johnson and others to account as best he can when he can, but as he is honest, straightforward and has real principles he is deemed not entertaining enough and people will soon move on to some other distraction.

It is beyond me why people believed Johnson, Gove, others and behind them Cummings, were not the ‘elite’ they claimed not to be a part of. But people did and voted them in with a huge majority. And instead of rightfully, focussed anger at many deaths which were directly caused by the Government failing to respond to the pandemic, we have this.
