I ask just out of curiosity. The gossip and political and crime threads always make me think they're infested with shills.
What percentage of Datalounge are genuine people vs shills?

The word "shill" has lost all meaning at this point.

I once sucked every dick in a Missouri casino for a flowy silk Gucci shirt.
I Only tell you this because I’ve upcycled the shirt on Etsy into covid masks and kitty sanitary pads.

Not sure we have many shills anymore, but I'd say half the people here have multiple accounts. Maybe it just seems that way, but we definitely have a slew of trolls with several accounts they use for disruption and sockpuppeteering.

Good question. I'm new to DL and I can sense that it used to be a much better site: Funnier, snarkier, but heartfelt. I have to wade through all the political bullshit to get to the good stuff. And all the threads that are started about people nobody ever heard of who are trying to start a career - obviously done as self-promotion or by a PR flack. And let's not forget the multiple threads on the same topic by fanbots: Timothy What's-His-Name and the Royal Family lovers. Yeah, I think there are plenty of shills here. They make it hard to get to the good stuff.

The pron threads are hotbeads of shills, especially if the thread concerns Sean Cody or Corbin Fisher (straight guys who dig the homosex) "actors."

Sorry to tell you gals but nobody gives a shit what you think. It's Datalounge.
Therefore shilling is a waste of time.
