This is my 84 year old father.
He’s lives on the end of the Bowery.
Lower East Side.
Manhattan.
New York City.
Born to the son of a Scottish Immigrant.
He moved to this City when he was 17 to do what we all do in this City.
We dream.
We fight.
We persist.
He played Snow Boy in the original production of West Side Story on Broadway.
1957.
A play about NYC.
About the futility of tolerance.
About love.
Lotta love for New York City right now.
Lotta love for everyone around the world right now.
Fighting and dreaming and persisting.
Lotta love for this old guy who will always dance better than I will.
