There's plenty of food now, but what about next fall?
Ominous inklings of troubles ahead. I'm sure nobody will starve in rich countries. But the present seasonless abundant cornucopia of imported products, which we have become used to, may take a hit.

It's still early enough to plant a vegetable garden. Plant some potatoes and onions right now, and cabbages and kale (which can both stand freezing weather). And, if you're really worried, purchase 'Possum Living', and learn how inventive poor people can survive. Mind you, I'm an animal lover, so the idea of raising rabbits in my basement and dispatching them with a gunshot is something I would never do.

Rabbits don’t smell, but a dirty cage sure will.
