R5, Pete Wilson's poll numbers were high during his governorship in the 1990s. He alienated entire demographics and generations. The California GOP is now more or less dead -- a pariah. It will take some years, but I see the national GOP going the same course. They're playing 20th century politics with an emerging 21st century populace who does not care for their old tricks and games.

The polls should only matter if everyone is asked. No one asked me.
