I loved her memoir Daughter of Empire and it's astounding to me that her great aunt was Empress Alexandra. Her grandmother was Queen Victoria's favorite grandchild. Her grandfather's brother married QV's youngest daughter and their daughter became the Queen of Spain. Her aunt became Queen of Sweden. Amazing family connections, including and up to Prince Philip being a first cousin.
