Has anyone seen this movie and know what it’s called?

It’s a foreign film from an Asian country (sorry not sure which), probably anywhere from the mid 90s to late 2000s. The genre is drama/comedy about a middle aged female prostitute barely scraping by and working from her apartment she ends up lending a client some money as he’s in a bad situation which he promises to repay one day after many years and she’s still struggling she goes to the atm and discovers he’s repaid her but in the amount in dollars as the digits to his mobile number. I saw it on tv a couple of times when I was younger and always found it a sweet and funny movie with a great atmosphere.
