He won a special Oscar as a kid and was one of Disney's first contract players. He died penniless in a tenement house in the Bronx and was buried in Potter's Field. What else do we know? What do we think?
There's not much to know. Kenneth Anger did a piece on him in his "Hollywood Babylon II." He was a delightful child star but grew up into an acned teenager. His career dried up. He got into drugs. He died penniless and alone. It was just another sad Hollywood tale. A shame, but not that unusual, although Driscoll's was one of the most severe cases of how you can go from Hollywood success to total failure.

He was also the model and voice for Disney's Peter Pan.
Driscoll didn't age well at all. He wound up with cystic acne, which put a quick end to his acting career. Then he got involved with drugs. Very sad.
