Other than Kennedy, there aren't a lot of examples. And compared to men like Weinstein, the women don't seem to be any worse.
In addition, Deborah Chow is being almost universally applauded for the Mandalorian episodes she's directed.
So, I think your statement lacks sufficient data to support your conclusion.
