Tasteful Friends-Thoughts on this Pacific Heights Julius Kraft

I'd love to buy it but wish it had more outdoor space for the dog. Should I go for it? And that bamboo tree in the stairwell HAS to go!

Oh Sweet Jesus, I want it SO BAD! There are things I don't like; for instance they've gone a little heavy handed with Buddha for my tastes, but I do love the space. It's definitely a dream house for me.

Beautiful, OP. Really, really beautiful.

Downright gorgeous. And in a great location with nice year-round weather.

OP here. I am obsessed with it. I have Lucy Jordan daydreams about it at work. Too many plants for my taste and I'd change the Budhha room into a glamorous dressing room(Mary!) but other than that it's gorgeous. Walking distance to Fillmore (though The Clay Theatre is closing after 100 years!)-it's perfect.

The furniture in the garden reminds me of furniture in the home of Luna Schlosser.

OP this is far and away the B E S T "tasteful friends" house ever in the history of Datalounge. I'm truly obsessed with it--the architecture, the location, the interior design; it's all splendid beyond compare. I can easily see myself living an opulent and sybaritic life in it. Years ago when I was a kid there was a house on the cover of AD that featured marble and malachite floors with lovely gauzy draperies blowing in the wind. This Pacific Heights house has eclipsed it as my dream home.

Thank you for sharing.
