by Anonymous | reply 26 | January 1, 2020 9:19 PM |
Teri-YAKA sauce!
She is very soothing. Also. I like that she uses real ingredients, for the most part. The only thing I use in recipes that is processed is broths and some sauces.

Thank you OP, I hadn't heard of her and i too get mesmerized watching her cook and bake. You can't even really make fun of her except maybe she works a bit slow for my taste. Up thread, they were accurate when comparing her to Bob Ross.... see the fluffy frosting glide across the top of the cake ...kindof thing.

Her delivery is so slow......

I am a late subscriber only been watching for a year. She and her husband who was in his early 80s when he died last year, purchased and refurbished an rv, planted gardens, reupholstered furniture and made major repairs on their home including installing a fucking moisture barrier at their advanced age!

Imagine the struggle as the put the mattress protector one corner at a time.

She's had a rough time lately. Her daughter died a few years ago, her husband Mr. Bucky died this past July and now she is undergoing chemotherapy. Poor baby, she's a sweet charmer, so was Mr. Bucky.

I forgot to mention these two elderly people adopted standard poodles and took excellent care of their pets. Phyllis continued to groom their dogs even while deathly ill , she made dog treats for the pets after one of the dogs developed a protein deficiency on the commercial pet food diet.

R45, who was deathly ill? Phyllis or their dogs?
by Anonymous | reply 46 | January 2, 2020 10:33 AM |
R41, you can adjust (speedup) the playback in the settings. I find this function especially useful with videos involving southerners.
Hey lady, I ain't got all day!

She could have a career going around impersonating Eudora Welty. Instead of making microwave pudding for her dogs.

I'm going to make the onion pie. What are green potatoes?
by Anonymous | reply 52 | January 3, 2020 10:51 PM |

I watched a few of Miss Phyllis' videos. She admitted that she and Mr. Bucky (her husband) watch Fox News on a regular basis. Also, I saw an episode where she was in a store being rude and a little demanding of one of the sales people because they didn't have her (Phyllis') favorite brand of paper towels in stock. Wanted to like her more, but I think she was living in a bubble in South Carolina. (I realize that she died.)
