What’s so devastating? Why no link to a credible report?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | December 12, 2019 3:56 PM |
R1 they haven't released the report yet, but sources have told reporters it is quite critical of Scheer
by Anonymous | reply 2 | December 12, 2019 3:58 PM |
A report about the resignation? Here's one.
Can't tell you about the internal report though.

Global News has learned that Scheer is resigning after it was revealed he had been using Conservative Party money to pay for his children's private school education.
#CPC sources tell Global News that members of the Conservative Fund are outraged and demanded Scheer's resignation when they found out party money was being spent on private schooling. Sources say the expenditures were made without the knowledge or approval of the Fund

Hawt Trudeau is looking pretty good again!

Christ, has he ever been honest about anything? What a goddamned waste of oxygen.
On a lighter note, I love this cartoon from a few weeks ago.

"But he (with his HAWT FOOTBALL PLAYER BUILD) was supposed to be Prime Minister by now, with Justin Castro Trudeau exiled to Cuba! Waaah!"
by Anonymous | reply 7 | December 12, 2019 4:37 PM |
I would just die if Scheer blames the DL trolls for not delivering the win with their anti-Trudeau trolling.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 12, 2019 4:38 PM |
THIS doesn't make the Conservatives look very good, does it? LMFAO to all those sad DL Trudeau haters--suck it, queens!

Shockingly even after the election loss, there were rabid Scheer supporters who were prepared to back Scheer all the way to his leadership review - they had blamed the "biased" media for his loss.
Wonder how they will turn themselves inside out after revelations Scheer had his hand in the cookie jar.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 12, 2019 4:40 PM |
Reading the Conservative online boards, Scheer supporters want "proof" about his hand in the cookie jar before they pass judgement
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 12, 2019 4:44 PM |
And they'll get it, R11. Because they can prove what he did.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | December 12, 2019 4:45 PM |
[quote] And they'll get it, [R11]. Because they can prove what he did.
Even after they get it, I'm sure they will create some spin to defend it (a la Trump)

There's no talking to deplorables; just ignore them and so eventually will everyone else.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 12, 2019 4:50 PM |
Always remember that right wing conservatives are masters at lying themselves into believing whatever they want.

Should be said we as Canadian taxpayers have paid for Andrew Scheer kids private schools
all political donations by party faithful get up to 75% back at tax time from taxpayers
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 12, 2019 4:57 PM |
Oh dear. The CPC might replace Scheer with somebody competent. 69% of Canadian voters were hoping he'd stay, to hand Trudeau another victory.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | December 12, 2019 4:59 PM |
So is he going to be indicted and tried for this theft?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 12, 2019 5:00 PM |
The guy who lied about being an insurance broker while concealing he was a dual citizen while faking that he wasn’t palling with white nationalists and proclaiming he was a good Catholic but called out our PM for ethics violations stole $$$?
Can't Hair Furor give Yankee Doodle Andy a job? Sounds like he's fit for the current White House.

OK here is the spin from the Conservative Party (not by me, but by the party)
Every party leader receives an extra salary paid directly from the party to be its "leader" - Trudeau does, Singh does, so does Andrew Scheer - all three paid by party funds
The leader is allowed to use that money any way he sees fit, so he used it for his kids' private schools. Some use the extra funds for clothes, make-up , whatever
That is the Conservative spin

Trudeau's send-off speech to him in Parliament was incredibly generous

Probably not. He'll feel SMACKED in the face, KNOCKED from his chair, KICKED in the gut, and so on, and so on ...
by Anonymous | reply 24 | December 12, 2019 6:57 PM |
And even with all the blackface ¨scandal¨ in woke Canada... Trudeau still won. Lmao.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | December 12, 2019 6:59 PM |
^ That really showed how poor a choice Scheer was for Conservative leader. He didn't inspire anyone. He was bland. His biggest advantage was that he 'wasn't Justin' - clearly not enough!

Has the Scheer Troll been reached for comment yet?

Global News can report that former Prime Minister Stephen Harper is "very angry" Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer was using party funds to help pay for his children's private school tuition. Source says Harper had no idea the funds were being used in that way

Thanks, R32. That was a great article, with a very clear and concise description of Scheer's (and the CPC's) galloping hypocrisy.
