If the House votes to impeach Trump, and a Senate trial keeps the Senate Democrats in Washington for the January debate, alternate arrangements have been prepared by the DNC and CNN, the sponsor of that debate.

January debate threshold just announced.

[quote]NEW: January DNC debate thresholds are out. Candidates must get at least 5% in four polls, or 7% in two-early state polls. Plus 225k donors. Clock on polling started Nov. 14.

Klobuchar, Yang, and Steyer may have trouble making the January debate. Klobuchar and Steyer need to reach 5% in two more polls, Yang in three more by January 10th. There's not a lot of polling over the holidays.

Fundraising threshold still in effect as well.

[quote]For the fundraising threshold, candidates need to receive donations from at least 225,00 unique donors, and a minimum of 1,000 unique donors per state in at least 20 different states.

Twenty days left to qualify. It's going to be a tight one for Yang and you know his fans are going to go berserk if he doesn't make it.

Correction: Klobuchar has already qualified. Oh, well, good for her.
