I am morally opposed to fur as fashion in any instance. What's the difference between wearing a cat or a mink?

This is disgusting and horrifying. Truly brings me down. Every day I'm coming across sick animal abuse stories in various articles and I can't even look at it. Wish I hadn't seen this. Years ago I watched ‘The Animals Film’ ( if I remember the name correctly ). A precursor to ‘Dominion’.

All of it was upsetting but one of the worst parts was a cat skinned alive after being thrown into boiling water. The cameraman noted in horror that it was still alive, moving and trying to mewl and his camera began to shake slightly. The ‘cook’ laughed and grinned and then hacked its head off. There really was no acknowledgment of the animal’s suffering by him at all.

But then we used to do the same to pigs and on a more industrial scale. I’m not sure what we do now. But I once did a photo shoot at the end of the day in a slaughterhouse and there was nothing good you could say about that process either. It’s all relative unless you just stop eating meat. I haven’t so who am I to point a finger etc .

I’m not really surprised by this.
