Kamala Harris dropped out because she was pressured by donors to do so...

To make room for Buttigieg and Bloomberg.

She wasn’t pressured by donors. They probably just were refusing to give her more money or make additional contributions to her super PAC.

She saw the writing on the wall. She didn’t have enough money to continue through the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary and no matter what she did, her polling just continued to sink into oblivion. She became the Scott Walker of 2020, a high profile front runner who kept losing traction and polling numbers the more he was exposed to the public. And was a decent enough politician to recognize there was nothing left to do. And in both cases, they were far too self reliant in terms of running the campaign. Scott Walker was his own chief strategist and Kamala used her sister.

R1 Don’t bet on that. She was still a real contender.
