The House Intelligence Committe impeachment report is out!

It's a quick read and makes a strong case for impeachment. Unfortunately the people who most need to read it are watching Sean Hannity or looking at 4chan/pol.

Are they going to IMPEACH 45?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | December 4, 2019 12:52 AM |
Of course, R3. He will be impeached before Christmas.
In 2020 the House will prosecute the case in front of the Senate. The Senate could vote to convict. It all depends on the case the House makes. In any event, I think it works in the Dems favor.

Wonder if the House has any recorded phone calls that could speed up conviction. Say detailed conversations with Trumpito, Rudy and Lev.
I mean they confiscated 20 phones from Lev.....

They do have phone records showing calls between Trump, Rudy, Devin Moo, abd a journalist. It would be great if they had recordings of the calls but wouldn't they have revealed those by now?

He definitely did all that. In fact, Trump continue to ask other countries to investigate, on public airwaves, no less, then he obstructed justice. He's an idiot. Good riddance.

The House has to work on its presentation of the facts to the public. We all already know Trump betrayed the country. The House prosecutors need to “sell it” and its importance. The Republican Senators will come around if the people get pissed enough.

And, to add to R8, in order to sell it, they need to drop the Latin. Most Americans don't know what quid pro quo is. Just call it bribery and extortion. Enough with the Ivy League display; this isn't about how smart they are. It's about what was done and they need to explain to most Americans what was done. Without the Latin.

Trump would Just say that they did bad things and are a disgrace.

What happens tomorrow? Anything good?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 4, 2019 3:22 AM |
Yeah, it's typical Trump. But it can't be allowed to become the norm. He must serve as an example.
And be terminated.

The Republicans are spinning this as a purely Democratic vendetta. Weren't there Republicans on the committee? Most people think that there were only Dems. Once again, the Republicans are out with the pro-active messaging first. If this message is not counter-balanced, the public will grow weary of impeachment and Trump will win. How stupid are the Dems, letting the Republican lie machine go unchallenged?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | December 4, 2019 1:58 PM |
The Republicans have a louder, further reaching mouthpiece. And their voters are gullible and generally more motivated to go vote. The Democrats need to figure out how to counter; they've already exposed Trumps lies and misdeeds and I hope that'll be a motivator and get more people to the polls, but right now the system is rigged and I can't see how to change that.

The thing that's gonna get Trump is the obstruction. They know it. He's fucked.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 7, 2019 11:50 AM |
Once Trump is officially impeached, more of the public will come round to the idea of replacing him.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 7, 2019 12:00 PM |
Why doesn’t Nancy come right out and say that if any Republican balks at this impeachment investigation, it not only represents their being derelict of duty, it presents the appearance of impropriety.
The more Republicans complain about us doing our sworn duty as representatives of the American citizenry and as custodians of the US Constitution, the more I begin to think they are attempting to hide their own ties to Vladimir Putin and their own aiding and abetting of President Trump’s criminal behavior.
No law-abiding, oath-following representative or senator would have a legitimate problem with these impeachment proceedings.

Treason; emoluments violations; Presidential communications (tweets); money laundering; threats; lying; use of personal phones; bribery; obstruction; collusion; self before country; hiring unqualfied family members; lying to stay out of military; hate crimes (racism; transgender military ban; ridicule of disabled); rape...

Trump is obstructing the house doing their duty. Simple as that. That what Nancy needs to push. And more prayers for him.

R19, NOT GUILTY!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 7, 2019 4:01 PM |
Trump arrogantly, proudly, and very publicly impeached himself.
