Winston died in 2015. He seemed like a great cat, with an odd but funny, original personality. (So obviously Winston was Rich's then-boyfriend's cat.) After their breakup, there was a whole "thing" about visitation. The breakup must have been ugly because Rich was either not allowed to visit, or chose not to, depending on which story you wanted to believe. I believe Rich chose not to. For ages, people kept asking him about Winston. I never thought a grown man would get jealous over a cat, but Rich managed to, so he tried to distance himself...from a cat. The whole thing was just ridiculous.

He ended up getting his own cat who, much like Rich, was boring, and lacking in personality. Rich tried to make him happen for a while, but as with most things, he gave up.
