How was it? Mine is moving along nicely with tinnitus that goes off the chart when the weather changes.
Your descent into deafness

In 1990, a friend was annoyed with me and told me to get my hearing tested, which I did. I have it tested occasionally, most recently in 2017 or so. My doc says I have unsymmetrical hearing loss, which I attribute to standing with the speaker to my right at a club on too many Saturday nights, haha.
The hearing loss I do have is in the higher range where women typically speak.
But I’ve noticed it getting worse, so it may be time for a hearing aid. I guess I’ll go for another test next year.
My Dad was largely deaf by 80 or 85. I remember his aunt had a horn, back in the day. I’m just 60. have a full head of hair though, thanks to my mother’s side. Both my brothers are bald.

Oh, I was reminded elsewhere, when dining out, I choose my seat based on the noise level.
I had a date recently with a much younger fellow and I realized I spend a lot of time saying “what?” It awkwardly accented the age difference.

R2, I never go out to bars any more, it's all but impossible to hear. Restaurants without music are still do-able.
