F = Gm1m2/r2
Otherwise known as gravity.

Huh? What?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 19, 2019 1:29 AM |
Apologies, here is an easier equation to follow:
F = G*((m sub 1*m sub 2)/r^2),

Lol have you never been on a mountain/tall hill OP? And yes they really did film kn austria.

Is someone here seriously asking how people can sit on hills without rolling down? Huh??
OP, where are you from? Are you the Darfur Orphan? Did everyone eat the hills in your country?
People have equilibrium and core strength, and gravity doesn’t work sideways. No one just goes rolling down a hill because they sat on it.

They put stakes up their butts and put them in the ground. That is why Kurt was smiling during the entire scene and eventually begged to be caught and punished by Rolf.

Kurt and Rolf on the mountain singing " My Favorite Things."
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 19, 2019 4:31 PM |
Actually they did slide down the mountain slope, several times. They went through two other Gretls before the one we see in the movie.

Rehearsal for the original " Sixteen Going on Seventeen," which they had to eventually relocate.

I remember watching the Sound of Music at 12 with my mom and dad while I discreetly humped the rug. I wanted to go rolling down the hill with either one of the brothers. Better yet, a threesome.. So adorable..

Op is from New York, where the biggest mountain anyone has seen is Murray Hill.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 19, 2019 8:40 PM |
It’s a good question, OP. They don’t look like they’re wearing hiking shoes either.
I’m chalking it up to Teutonic determination.

Pick an answer OP =
"With Scotch tape Rose".
"With Silly Putty Rose".
"If you have to ask Rose, It doesn't matter anymore".

That's why Velcro was invented in Switzerland.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 20, 2019 12:54 AM |
Ok seriously? Has no one been to Interlochen or Bern or Lucern or wherever the hell hills like that are in the Alps? I mean how do they manage to have a slight slant but still have a steepe? It's not exactly flat like the grand fucking canyon!
No I don't get it. How do they not trip and keep rolling down? They look very high up.

They screwed the cast members into the ground and draped them lovingly in surrounding yards of extra costume fabric.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 20, 2019 2:20 AM |
Don't be silly, OP. Everyone knows they tipped the mountain sideways so nobody could fall off.
