Songs That Stir Something In You Or....

give you a feeling of calm and comfort. One of my favorite songs ever is "99 Miles From L.A." by Art Garfunkel. Such a beautiful rendition. I don't know what it is but it actually brings a feeling of calm over me every time I hear it. I keep the CD "Breakaway" in my car so I can play this song when traffic is maddening.

What are the songs that do something to you when you hear them? If they're on YouTube (which they probably are) post them. Maybe they'll give others similar feelings.

OP, that’s a great album. One of the songs, I think it’s “Disney Girls”, has a line that I have actually used, and was well received:

[italic] “All my life...I’ve spent the nights...with dreams of you.” [/italic]

(Should go in the recent “seduction” thread.)
