Only a surprise here on DL because of the anti-Trans troll

by Anonymousreply 1November 12, 2019 4:57 PM

This may indeed be true. But could they publish the contrary?

by Anonymousreply 2November 12, 2019 4:59 PM

Yes the memory of traumatic elective surgery tends to fade over time.

by Anonymousreply 3November 12, 2019 5:00 PM

R2, if the study showed the contrary, that would be big news too

by Anonymousreply 4November 12, 2019 5:00 PM

Not long term, what were they comparing the participants with, what were the people diagnosed with, who paid for the study

by Anonymousreply 5November 12, 2019 5:00 PM

Do what you want, when18 and over.

by Anonymousreply 6November 12, 2019 5:01 PM

Yeah, but they drive the rest of us normal people fucking mental.

[quote]if the study showed the contrary, that would be big news too

Yes, but it would be "problematic" to publish it and the news outlet would be afraid of being canceled in a social media backlash.

So I think these types of stories are culled.

Desperate to show trans people just make it all up?

by Anonymousreply 9November 12, 2019 5:08 PM

[quote] Yes, but it would be "problematic" to publish it

It absoluteky would not be problematic if the science was solid.

by Anonymousreply 10November 12, 2019 5:09 PM

When anti-gay parenting studies were published, the problem was the science was so inccurate that it was easy to challenge them.

It's easy to see when a study is modeled specifically to find a conclusion.

R10 That's adorable.
