Her first album was fantastic. Just perfectly of the moment.
Waiting five years to release a follow-up was unwise. That's an eternity. As a rising artist, you just couldn't do that if you wanted to maintain momentum. Even back then, when memories were (slightly) longer.
But some people only have one good album's worth of material in them. Nothing wrong with that.
