Beto O’Rourke Is Dropping Out of the Presidential Race

Noooooooo!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | November 1, 2019 9:33 PM |
If only he was not white..
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 1, 2019 9:33 PM |
I hope he continues to push for gun reform. I’m thankful to him for bringing so much passion to that issue
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 1, 2019 9:33 PM |
He is so sexy, I love his lean body.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 1, 2019 9:34 PM |
He was born to drop out.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 1, 2019 9:34 PM |
Can’t win his own state
by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 1, 2019 9:34 PM |
It’s about time for the riffraff to step aside. Tulsi next please. Then Booker. Then Yang. Then Castro.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 1, 2019 9:35 PM |
He was the last top standing.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | November 1, 2019 9:35 PM |
It's about fucking time.
He should have dropped out ages ago, so he could run for a Texas Congressional seat.
Dumb ass.
Can’t win his own state
Remind me again how Trump did in New York...
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 1, 2019 9:35 PM |
He needed two more polls for the November debate and had twelve more days to get them. I guess the embarrassment of that was too much for him to bear.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 1, 2019 9:36 PM |
He’ll find something else to run for.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 1, 2019 9:36 PM |
I wish he'd been less ambitious and saved his powder for a run against Cornyn here in Texas next year.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 1, 2019 9:36 PM |
It’s about time. He should run for the Senate again.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 1, 2019 9:36 PM |
Not for lack of trying, r2. His name is Robert Francis O'Rourke. He invented the nickname story of being called Beto to try to ride as an Hispanic.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 1, 2019 9:37 PM |
He couldn’t connect AT ALL on a national level. He’s mayoral material.

by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 1, 2019 9:40 PM |
r16 Yup, I thought for sure he would translate beyond Texas, but it just never happened. Perhaps in a different year with fewer candidates...
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 1, 2019 9:41 PM |
R15 if he was pretending to be Hispanic wouldn’t the part of his name he would change be O’ROURKE?

by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 1, 2019 9:51 PM |
Reddit and Twitter are fucking [italic]pissed[/italic] about this. He's got supporters out there in the cold rain in Des Moines right now, getting ready to march, and he goes and pulls this stunt.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 1, 2019 9:52 PM |
r31 Many were for him, not just you, and let me tell you, it'll go to all sorts of candidates, including Pete.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 1, 2019 9:53 PM |
*Lest we forget, Beto was a moderate through and through until the El Paso shooting happened and he started coming up with policy solutions for the woke Twitter crowd from that point forward.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | November 1, 2019 9:54 PM |
r33, I meant MY support is not going to Mayor Pete. I can't speak for other Beto supporters.
As for who I will support now, I don't have any idea. None of the others appeal to me (especially Bernie and Mayor Pete).
by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 1, 2019 9:55 PM |
He didn't stand on enough bars or tables.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 1, 2019 9:56 PM |
So sad. I don't understand why he didn't catch on more in Iowa. He should have been a slam dunk.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 1, 2019 9:56 PM |
r35 Why are you so angry at pete, is it because he basically destroyed Beto at the last debate?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | November 1, 2019 9:57 PM |
R35: None of 17 candidates appeals to you?
by Anonymous | reply 39 | November 1, 2019 9:57 PM |
R13 Yes he should have definitely saved his powder.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 1, 2019 9:58 PM |
He's deranged.
Just re-visit that video of him going on a "road trip," following his run for Senate.
He had to "clear his head."
Honestly, the guy's a nutjob, and we dodged a bullet. In no way, is he Presidential material.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | November 1, 2019 9:58 PM |
r38, Who says I'm angry? I just don't care for Pete. That's allowed you know.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 1, 2019 9:58 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 46 | November 1, 2019 10:02 PM |
R38, I'm not R35, but you are delusional if you think Pete "destroyed" Beto in the last debate. Beto was right that Pete has no courage on the AR-15 ban. Pete is as bland as the day is long...which still isn't as bland as Amy Klobuchar, but bland enough. And Pete doesn't come from a state that is going to be in play either, and he'll never appeal to black candidates, so Pete will never be the VP candidate either.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | November 1, 2019 10:03 PM |
Pete should take notes, so when he drops out of the race he knows how to do it properly.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | November 1, 2019 10:03 PM |
Now he can concentrate on doing what he loves, snapchat and insta stories and awesome roadtrips.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | November 1, 2019 10:04 PM |
r47 Bland you say? Is that why Pete has 100 times the support at this moment.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | November 1, 2019 10:04 PM |
The Woke Generation DEMAND that a non-straight non-white human win.
Is that why Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders are at the top of the polls, for Democratic candidates?
You stupid, fucking trollcunt.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | November 1, 2019 10:09 PM |
R50, do you really think Pete is going to get any sizable black support? It isn't going to happen, and, without black support, it's a no go.
Reddit and Twitter are fucking pissed about this. He's got supporters out there in the cold rain in Des Moines right now, getting ready to march, and he goes and pulls this stunt.

Nobody needs to see that. Get filmed doing volunteer work, being a guest on a cooking show, reading to kids, jogging, hiking, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | November 1, 2019 10:12 PM |
Pete is as bland as they come. Whiter than white and no charisma whatsoever. Like somebody already said, he's the male Amy Klobuchar, and about as exciting and inspiring.
And yeah, black voters hate him.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | November 1, 2019 10:12 PM |
Most Beto supporters probably hate Pete for stealing his whole schtick and doing it better. They won’t be voting for Mayo Pete.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | November 1, 2019 10:12 PM |
Pete will never get the black vote due to inherent homophobia as well as the fact that he hails from a wealthy academic family. And he's boring as fuck. Chasten should be the one running.

Beto on the cover of Vanity Fair "I'm just born to be in it!"
Beto resetting his campaign in May.
Beto resetting his campaign in August.
Beto live-streaming his visit to the dentist.

After his comments about taking AK47's, he won't be able to get elected as dog catcher in TX.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | November 1, 2019 11:09 PM |
I think a bigger problem is whether he will still be able to gain an office in Texas after an aborted presidential bid.
I would definitely like to see him run for Senate again - although Cornyn and Cruz are tough to beat in Texas.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | November 1, 2019 11:13 PM |

I could definitely see him destroying Trump on a debate stage.

I don't trust pete.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | November 2, 2019 2:08 AM |
Beto should have been concentrating on trying again for the Senate in Texas. Not wasting his time running for President, which he had zero chance of getting the nomination.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | November 2, 2019 2:09 AM |
It was clear early on he was too windbag-y for his own good. He was just spewing a lot of hot air I had no idea why people were so enamored with him.

Marianne is tapping the new synergy of a race without Beto.
"Beto was a classic Libra. Balanced. Just. Caring. We who remain must unite not to replace him, but to channel his outstanding qualities with peace and compassion. Beto is very much still part of the race, because he is now part of all of us. The best part."

by Anonymous | reply 103 | November 2, 2019 2:37 AM |
Buttigieg was very good. He did the slow presidential walk to center stage tonight. Everyone was enthusiastic. But the theme of Buttigieg’s speech tonight was essentially “unity is paramount and it means that we will move forward to the extent that virtually everyone agrees. There will be no winners and losers.” Stakeholder but-in and all that. Industry. The very wealthy. He will need their permission. There will not be structural change.
In other words, he’s for incremental change. Expect another health care bill with listening tours and the nearly endless seeking of industry and Republican input and buy-in. Like Obama.
Now I’m thinking, if we do centrist, just go with Biden. They’re promising the same thing but Biden’s more likely to win at least at this point.
by Anonymous | reply 104 | November 2, 2019 2:38 AM |

I don't think Beto will run for Senate because if he loses which would be likely in Texas that makes him a two time loser, not a label any politician wants. He is young and has some appeal, he can find another political post to run for in the future. If he waits 6-10 years the demographics in Texas will be drastically different from today and a statewide win much more possible.

Good point. I can understand why Beto doesn't want to run for Senate in Texas right now. Democrats have not won a statewide race in Texas since the 1990's. Beto gave it a good run against Cruz in 2018, but running against Cornyn in 2020 would probably be tougher.
Beto is not in as strong a position as Hickenlooper in Colorado. Hickenlooper has already won 2 statewide races for Governor, plus he's running in a state which is purple and trending increasingly blue. Hickenlooper is probably the favorite to win Colorado against Sen. Gardner next year, whereas Beto would probably be the underdog to Cornyn in Texas.

All's fair in love and war and politics so this is not blaming anybody but a lot of Beto's early thunder was taken by Pete when he broke out early on. If Pete weren't in the race, or if he didn't have a great "viral" moment in one of the early town halls, it would be interesting to see where Beto would be today. I sense he would have done much better.
You could see a direct correlation between Pete's poll numbers going up, and Beto's dropping down.
That said, Beto made a number of strategic mistakes in his campaign which were all of his own doing as well.

But if that's just me and a few others, well, so be it for now. Even a moderate would be a hell of a lot better than Trump so I hope nobody is planning on throwing any tantrums next November if their candidate doesn't win. Washington is batshit crazy and terribly broken. I want structural change in this country. So I’m going with Warren.
by Anonymous | reply 185 | November 2, 2019 3:31 PM |
Warren is a fool. Structural change only works from the bottom up and not the top down. And that has long been a big flaw in the Democratic Party. While we are focused on the Presidency, the Republicans have been focused on the races for local dogcatcher, the school boards, the statehouses, and the courthouses.
The kind of sweeping, cultural and systemic changes that Warren says she wants (and Bernie too) need to start at the local, grassroots level and swell to a national, nationwide focus. The President can't do shit without backup, and a farm team.
We have a lot of democrats who seem to have been out sick the day they taught the lesson that Presidents aren't Kings in Civics Class.
So Warren can get up on stage and squawk about bold changes, but she's talking to the wind. If history is our guide, once Donald Trump is vanquished, Democrats will just return to old voting patterns. And does she really think the opposition is just going to roll over and allow her to get whatever she wants. We learned with Obama, that political honeymoons and voter mandates are concepts from the past.
Have you ever asked yourself whatever happened to the Tea Party? Remember how they were yelling about government spending being out of control? How it wasn't a partisan issue and that they weren't racist? You would think they would be all over the place now with out of control deficits and military parades and walls we can't afford, procurement ethics violations, emoluments clause violations. Etc. Etc. Etc. But, nary a peep.

Remember, all the polling in Iowa shows that voters are not firmly committed to the candidate they say they are supporting. Most of the likely caucus-goers report that they could still switch their support to a different candidate. Nothing about the polling is certain at this point.

I would rather lose with Pete as the nominee, than Warren. With Pete we would be making a bold statement with fresh, new leadership. A major cultural earthquake. And yes, I'm gonna say it. Pete is more qualified for the job than Warren. She has clearly learned absolutely nothing in the Senate. And now she has gone on the record with promises to bankrupt the country with her crazy healthcare scheme.

R243 Correct. But there is the understandable additional element to Dem Primary discernment - who will beat Trump? I think his going out so far... and his "fuck this" animus - could have appealed to Dem Primary voters, but could also have telegraphed "wingnut" ammo for the Trump Machine in the general election.
by Anonymous | reply 246 | November 3, 2019 12:09 AM |
Unfortunately, R246, no one is going to out wingnut Elizabeth Warren...well, unless it's Bernie, but that's never going to happen. Between her big, but wildly unrealistic "plans" and the whole Pocahontas thing, Trump (please, God, let him be gone before then) will tear her to shreds and the vast majority of citizens, who are idiots, will eat it up.

Well, getting the primary candidate that you actually LOVE is rare in a primary. I adore Kamala - her intellect, background, education, ability, actual Senatorial experience, DA experience, REALISTIC platforms, etc... But it is what it is. Pete will not be the nominee either and he is my second choice. I really only resonate with these two candidates. BUT - at the end of the day, I will vote "D" down the ballet no matter who is chosen. We all need to do the same. Not even the worst of the Dem candidates can even come CLOSE to the repulsive, violent, Mob-driven, destructive, tyrannical, demagogue, divisive, hypocritical bullshit that the ENTIRE GOP/Trumpybear are pushing currently and will continue to until they breathe their last breath. That foul Tulsi (a GOP/Russian plant) is not included in this elite list (and pock face is not a threat anyway). If you disagree, then you likely have very limited cognitive reasoning for a number of reasons (all of which do not qualify you to have a fully functioning brain and a valid vote...).

I think the DNC know not to put pete as the parties nominee. He lives that lifestyle, and a lot of conservative types are very uncomfortable with that. And we have to beat Trump in 2020.
So I'm just saying, that would be a huge risk that we can't chance.
by Anonymous | reply 267 | November 3, 2019 12:37 PM |
Then by that reasoning, R267, does it come back to Biden? I started out as a huge supporter off Biden and now I'm... less so because I think he's run lacklustre campaign and beyond improving the ACA I am not sure what he stands for... but maybe that's the point. Steady hand. But I accept he still could be the one who can defeat Trump. I'm just torn.
Plus I'm mindful of that poll that said a majority would vote for a gay candidate (although I'd like a repolling now it becomes a greater likelihood) and I'm mindful a majority of people disapprove of how that imbecile is handling the presidency and that he barely won the damn thing last time anyway. Which is to say the factors make it look like a moderate risk moderate candidate could be feasible and maybe it doesn't have to be Biden. But to me the only thing that matters is defeating Trump and I'll vote for whoever can actually do it.
by Anonymous | reply 268 | November 3, 2019 12:48 PM |
I can't stand Pete and will not be voting for him, but I disagree that he doesn't have a chance to win. He is obviously being set up to be the nominee by the establishment now that Warren is sinking with her M4A messaging. Sanders is blatantly being ignored by the media in favor of Pete, even though Bernie is leading ahead of Pete. Again, in a repeat of 2016, Sanders is widely trashed and ignored. Wonder if Pete will get the same pariah treatment that Hillary did when he loses to Trump next year.

by Anonymous | reply 271 | November 3, 2019 2:28 PM |
The thing no one acknowledges about Bernie is his support is a mile deep and an inch wide.
That is, Bernie supporters are very intense supporters, but there is a cap on their numbers. Bernie has most of the supporters he’s ever going to have right now. And their fanaticism isn’t communicable.
Many voters outside the Bernie clique don’t like him and won’t support him no matter what happens. No conservatives of any party like him, and many moderates don’t either. He has the left wing of the left wing and that’s it. All people see is a lot of Bernie worshippers at events. They think the enthusiasm of Bernie crowds means he can win a general election. But if he was even viable he would be beating Biden like a drum, who is lackluster at best. But he doesn’t have broad appeal, so he can’t.
He can’t carry Southern states, so there’s no point in berating other candidates like Buttigieg, if they can’t carry them either, because they’re gay or minorities. He can’t flip purple states in conservative areas. Bernie Bros can cheer him to the depths of their being, but it doesn’t make him any more palatable to moderates who just don’t like his “who cares how we pay for it, let’s do it anyway” attitude. After Trump, the country will be flat broke anyway and we’ll be lucky to hold onto Social Security and welfare.
Sanders and Warren don’t acknowledge that, but it’s true. They want gullible voters to not realize their plans are unaffordable, once Trump gets through thrashing the economy and driving the country into debt. You can only promise expensive plans if you refuse to acknowledge you’re walking into office with a broke country.
by Anonymous | reply 272 | November 3, 2019 2:43 PM |
I like Buttigieg, because he’s young and sharp and adaptable. What’s going to happen once Trump is gone and people find out just how bad things really are? A lot of things we know nothing about now are going to come out. Trump has probably been gaming the economy by bribing officials and who knows what else. The economy will collapse like a house of cards once he’s gone. He’s destroying alliances and treaties as we speak.
Remember how it was for Obama when he entered office? Stock market crashing, economy unstable as hell? We could be facing that again. Plus enormous debt. And lots of revelations will come out that destabilize the market once Trump is gone. I want a young man to deal with that, someone who is pragmatic and doesn’t inflexibly cling to his personal plans, which may be found to be untenable once the worst is known.
by Anonymous | reply 273 | November 3, 2019 2:51 PM |
A lot of the hate Buttigieg gets is based on lies and disinformation spread by supporters of the candidates like Kamla Harris.

There are excellent textbook examples of internet trolling in this thread. Rejecting reason and internal logic in statements for florid, attention-seeking attacks on.... it doesn't matter. The attack is the point, not the actual content of what's communicated. Most voters, even highly partisan voters, have complete lives, can entertain more than one idea at a time, and can visualize divergent election scenarios they'd be happy with. I was a Bernie supporter in 2016 (am a DSA member), was happy to vote for Clinton in the general, gave $ to Pete in March and April (as well as Castro and Warren), and am now firmly a Warren supporter. I have observed and been disappointed in Pete's pivot to the center (which has made me even more strongly a Warren supporter), but even today on Sunday news I listened to Pete, understood his approach, appreciated it for the strategic impact it might have on the general election. I'd be happy to vote for any of the Dem candidates in the general (except Gabbard... though I'd vote for her). Breathe, listen, be amused, don't throw nor eat mud, love mercy and work for justice. It isn't that hard, eh?

Are you kidding me with this stupidity? In 1960, nobody but a white man ever would have been selected as JFK's running mate; times have changed. And regardless of what the dimwitted Kennedys may have thought of him, LBJ had 12 years' experience in the Senate, 6 of them as Majority Leader, and was one of the most effective senators of all time in terms of his ability to pass legislation. I would say that the real "finally" is "finally, he got shot to death and LBJ replaced him as President." But seriously, while LBJ may not have been well-used once elected VP, that is irrelevant to the point that he was much more qualified for the role than Beto and thus brought much more to the ticket.

by Anonymous | reply 337 | November 8, 2019 4:35 AM |
So now that Beto has been vanquished by Pete, will the Beto fans stop calling him Mayo Pete?
by Anonymous | reply 338 | November 8, 2019 10:03 AM |
Beto will now have more time to unleash his gorgeous cock and breed willing recipients.
by Anonymous | reply 339 | November 8, 2019 10:34 AM |
The Beto fans can't fathom why no one else but them is attracted to Beto. Well, lusting after an AWG won't make him hot.
by Anonymous | reply 340 | November 8, 2019 11:42 AM |
I don't know why you all aren't masturbating to his handsome face right now!
by Anonymous | reply 341 | November 8, 2019 8:17 PM |
For his call with supporters this week, he had a scruff thing going on and it looked good. That man can talk!
by Anonymous | reply 342 | November 8, 2019 11:39 PM |
R342 He's very uneven in his ability to talk. Sometimes he seems (seemed?) articulate and inspiring. Other times he seemed frantic, inchoate, and superficial.
by Anonymous | reply 343 | November 8, 2019 11:44 PM |
r343 Yes, the first in June debate was my first ever contact with Beto and I was surprised at how... frantic his speech was. Perhaps it was just the nerves, because he did better at those televised town halls later on.
by Anonymous | reply 344 | November 9, 2019 12:32 AM |
How much weed would you guess he smokes on a daily basis?
by Anonymous | reply 345 | November 9, 2019 4:23 AM |
Surely he's not going to lay low up to 2022? He has to do something.
by Anonymous | reply 346 | November 10, 2019 12:11 PM |
His only hope would be as Warren’s running mate.
The Beto fans can't fathom why no one else but them is attracted to Beto.
Or why his looks aren't enough to inspire people to vote for him.

Beto's a heavy perspirer. Imagine how drenched the sheets must get after a prolonged session.
by Anonymous | reply 349 | November 10, 2019 5:59 PM |
He's hot! I mean, really hot.
by Anonymous | reply 350 | November 10, 2019 7:21 PM |
He's no intellectual. Up against Liz or Pete he often came off as flailing.
by Anonymous | reply 351 | November 11, 2019 5:20 AM |
He was a guy who obviously would have been a great constituency Senator or Congressman. I can't argue he doesn't really care. I think it's obvious he does. And he's no more stupid than anyone else of usual intelligence. But he seemed only to have feeling and emotion and that wasn't enough. He's relatively young, he can focus himself but he did, to me, come across in the end was a well meaning dilettante.
by Anonymous | reply 352 | November 11, 2019 1:38 PM |
A conservative voting record while holding a safe blue seat in Congress and only changed his mind on assault weapons after a shooting happened in his own backyard. Because those queers gunned down in Pulse didn't quite do the trick for him.
But yeah, he cares. Deeply. About how he comes across to the Twitter rabble.
by Anonymous | reply 353 | November 11, 2019 2:15 PM |
He's also corrupt. While on the city council, he approved projects that benefitted his father-in-law.
by Anonymous | reply 354 | November 11, 2019 2:22 PM |
r349 Wow he really sweat a lot. Imagine the musk under his nuts.
by Anonymous | reply 355 | November 11, 2019 2:39 PM |
Beto was a great city council man and was tackling homelessness and housing way before homelessness got national attention. He warned about the One Ticket Program and the abuses of the program from middle America. The only other figure that put the spotlight on the matter was L.A Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa
Bernie Sanders would go on to steal his platform pledge of only receiving donations from people and not from PACS or corporations. Fucking Bernie.
by Anonymous | reply 356 | November 11, 2019 2:41 PM |
Beto's out of the race and the haters (Pete Buttigieg supporters) are STILL coming here and bashing him.
Go look after your own boy, he's the one who needs your help right now.

I can't wait for him to run for Governor of Texas in 2022 <3
#TurnTexas #Blue
by Anonymous | reply 358 | November 11, 2019 3:42 PM |
God, the Beto trolls must be masochistic. He was never going to turn Texas blue. No one can. And losing the universally hated Ted Cruz should've been the word.
by Anonymous | reply 359 | November 12, 2019 2:53 AM |
It's over for Beto. He's un-disciplined and his appeal is too small to win a big election.

Homelessness began to get national attention when Beto was still a teenager.

Maybe Beto should have accepted donations from PACs and corporations, considering he ran out of money accepting only from individuals. Bernie at least is excellent at raising large amounts of money from small donors.

Texas was within two points of being blue. Most of it's population growth comes from immigrants and young people moving to the cities.
It will be a competitive state for Dems at some point within the next ten years. That's obvious. Arizona has gone through an early identical transformation and they successfully elected Kyrsten Sinema to the Senate last year.
Its just not quite there yet. Beto was an above average Senate candidate but he just wasn't equipped for the kind of scrutiny that comes with a national campaign.
What a good looking man though. He is sex on legs

I meant "a nearly" instead of "an early" above
by Anonymous | reply 365 | November 12, 2019 7:44 PM |
And what of this, R364? Hmm?
"Most of it's population growth ..."
by Anonymous | reply 366 | November 12, 2019 8:43 PM |
Never happening. As for Beto, his greed in going national before he was ready for primetime, and subsequent failures, has put a dent in his future prospects because he's now only known for losing. He was in the exact same position as Stacy Abrams, if he had restrained himself, he'd still have retained the aura and would most definitely be in discussion for veep. He blew his wad and now he's done.
by Anonymous | reply 367 | November 13, 2019 4:18 AM |
Beto had to run. He had to try it. The heat he generated during the Senate race was too big to ignore.
But he faded so fast it shocked me. He just couldn't deliver. He seemed way out of his depth — spazzy, frantic, lightweight — and Buttigieg's calmness and measured intellectualism stole his supporters. Beto's 47, but he campaigned like a 27 year old.
His big viral moment — that impromptu speech on taking a knee and race — was amazing. If he had been able to speak that eloquently on a continuing basis (basically, if he'd been Buttigieg), he would have been a real contender. He had another moment with guns, but he went way too far to the left and didn't offer an inspiring, relatable vision, compared to his taking-a-knee moment.

Beto is a regular at the Bi *wink-wink* I mean the Bi-national marathon run that takes place in the boarder states every year.
I really miss him in the race. He made the debates more palatable. We are left with soon to be octogenarians.

Why? It's not like the Beto troll's or trolls' analysis will be intelligent or insightful; you just want to gloat at their distress.
