r18, part of the problem with our current state of affairs in this country is that people think the superficial is important. Look at our president. If you think participating in our government is superficial, you must be pretty shallow.

Anderson Cooper says that he doesn't vote because journalists should be objective. I agree with the premise, but I think it's quite possible to have opinions and not allow them to impair on your professional objectivity.

Both my man and I vote every election. It's funny guy on grindr I mentioned I just completed "A Very Stable Genius' and he blocked me.

I live in Queens, which always goes blue whether I vote or not. I vote maybe 40% of the time because I really believe in the candidate and the rest of the time just to fulfill my civic duty.

That said, I skipped the last mayoral election because I couldn't bring myself to vote for DiBlasio.
