Russia’s international propaganda outlet just recycled an old, debunked claim that Stalin’s terror-famine in Ukraine was a Western “hoax.”

Wow, that is on the level of Angela Merkel denying the Holocaust.

So Putin's totally checked into wackyland.
Guessing the Ukrainians aren't buying it.

Oh, they know hunger, r1. Russians were so desperate they resorted to cannibalism during famines in the 1900s. Killing their children for food, selling the parts of corpses,... sick shit. Just Google Russia + famine + cannibalism.

By admitting the truth of what happened in Ukraine, Putin would have to also acknowledge it was Russia’s mass deportation of Ukrainians and resettlement of ethnic Russians in Ukraine that directly led to the famine.
Stalin and Russia were wholly responsible for an avoidable situation. Stalin was more concerned with having his supporters rewarded than feeding his people.

Poor Russia. Two hideous famines within ten years, thanks to Lenin and Stalin.
