REALLY? In the 80 years that the character's been around, no one has EVER made that observation. So insightful.

meaning batman at long last takes it up the arse….

by Anonymousreply 2October 18, 2019 10:14 AM

Oh, god. Please make him stop talking about this film until its finished and he has a better idea of what he's doing. It's not an indie or an obscure subject, no one needs RPATTZy schooling us on Batman.

Next he'll tell us his parents murder caused him to go a bit off and Wayne has trouble connecting to people.

by Anonymousreply 3October 18, 2019 10:27 AM

Tied of hearing about this shite already. The world doesn’t need another Batman film. And who gives a fuck about ‘R-Patz’? He’s just another 2-bit public school boy that’s coasted on luck and privilege. Sad! x

by Anonymousreply 4October 18, 2019 10:35 AM

he will make a flop

hims got shitty mojo

by Anonymousreply 5October 18, 2019 10:36 AM

If you still doubt Pattinson as Batman.

GO WATCH THE LIGHTHOUSE. He's insane in it and has been becoming one of my favorite actors since 2017's Good Time. Hes gonna kill the role like he did in Cosmopolis, Good Time, High Life, and now The Lighthouse.

It was bound to happen eventually.

Also, Batman IS a hero and as moral as Superman or Wonder Woman. In fact, he's a gigantic vagina because he pretends that he isn't.

by Anonymousreply 8October 19, 2019 9:26 AM

he don't do it for me

way too hairy

by Anonymousreply 9October 19, 2019 10:31 AM

Robert Pattinson is proud of his ferocious masturbation scene in The Lighthouse.

Oh yay, yet ANOTHER Marvel/DC superhero movie. The movie studios are farting these things out several times a month. Enough with this shit already.

I don't understand why WB doesn't green-light a Robin franchise and have all the different Robins starting with Dick Grayson, Jason Todd , Tim Drake and ending with Bruce Wayne's biological son; Damian Wayne into two or three films?

The character of Robin is part of the Batman mythology after all as much as Alfred is and there is so much material to work with and the comics certainly have delved into the dysfunctional family dynamics aspect of Alfred and Bruce and Bruce and his "sons" so that could be further delved into in the movies. As well as the rivalry between the Robins for Bruce's approval for example.

Even though Alfred is not Bruce's father he certainly is a father figure to him and raised him . So that dysfunctional family dynamics that made up the Wayne household is great material to work with if the writing is there..

Cast some hot young guys as the different incarnations of Robin to attract teenage girls and lot of big budget action to bring in teenage boys and you have a hit franchise on your hands that could bring in box office gold.

WB has to try to get the younger teenage/adult demographic to flock to their movies like Marvel does and what a better way than to use a character that can appeal to different age demographics as the age of the character of Robin does go from tween with Damian to teen with Tim Drake and all the way up to the 20's which Dick Grayson and Jason Todd are.

How many times do they have to do this? It's had more revivals than Gypsy.

Although Patti LuPone might deliver the definitive Batman.

by Anonymousreply 13October 19, 2019 12:30 PM

Patti would be the first to win an Oscar, for playing Batman. Excellent idea, R13

by Anonymousreply 14October 19, 2019 12:35 PM

Now I’m hoping Pattinson falls ill and the true Patti fills his tiny shoes.

Stupid hype about even more comic book movie bullshit. Will it ever go away??

by Anonymousreply 16October 19, 2019 12:46 PM

Increasingly I feel the U.S. is losing another talking point, in this case, the 'we export the best creative product in the world' thing.

Will there be a masturbation scene?

by Anonymousreply 20October 21, 2019 11:12 AM

If so, maybe he'll lube with bat guano.

by Anonymousreply 21October 21, 2019 11:50 AM

I still can't believe he was cast as Batman.

by Anonymousreply 22October 21, 2019 11:52 AM

He's so cute. Radiates sexiness.
